I believe you'll find that this is the known and well documented issue with top mounts.. Mine only does it when cold. Shouldn't be anything to worry about if it is that.. If you have a search you'll find plenty of threads on it, I suspect.
I believe that said person who was lined up to test drive is now due to do so today.. Watch this space..? :?:
Agree on many of your points - small cars with lots of feeling are certainly fun. After owning the T; getting back into my old Ka some time ago, I realised how organic it felt...
Great photos ben!
One thing i missed - the moutain bike rides - agree on that, although Essex aka land of the pancake mountains isn't quite on par with the lakes.. Hey ho, it'll do me!
I love those bitterly cold but bright sunny days, best enjoyed through a country walk :D oh and the sunsets - gorgeous deep reds and golden yellows, with the sun low in the sky early in the afternoon.
Log fires crackling...
Superb!
Mind you I don't enjoy standing in the freezing cold on the...
A certain person whose screen name is of a vegetable nature is apparently down to test drive one shortly; hopefully he'll post his views. Personally they've grown on me a great deal and I'm intrigued to find out what they're like to drive, but am certainly not in a position to invest in one...
Those pesky lamp posts - gotta keep an eye on them - they just jump of nowhere!
sorry to hear of your mishap - hope you can find a replacement easily. May be worth trying cit-ren who have just broken a trophy...?
My only reason for thinking that it 'could' be an RS192 was on the ground that some of the owners previous posts alluded to the fact that he was looking for one..
That road looked absolutely glorious. Combined with the sound track (both musical and mechanical!), the camera work and their own descriptions.. WOW!
Although TG has gone a long way from its humble beginings and sometimes I feel that it's become a little too 'prime time', it still offers some...
I agree that the renault and sport badges don't match at all, coupled with the fact that every chav and his dog has since bunged the sport badge on their clapped out old shed!
Good idea! Must be a great deal easier to clean too - no longer having to worry about getting inbetween rasied...
Looking good Johnny.. Rude not to have it in ASBO Green! 8)
I would love to experience one. The looks have certainly grown on me, with the exception of a couple of features.
Do keep us updated as time goes on!
They're 10 a penny here in sunny essex... two green ones in my gf's road alone!!!
They have grown on me a great deal though. Hope you enjoy it JTB and please bring it to a meet one day! :D
Don't wish to be pointing out the obvious, but you have selected the appropriate setting on the rocker switch beside the traction control first haven't you?
^^ At that stage, I'd say it was worth considering a new cat back or full system... The reno ones are heavy and only mild steel rather than stainless anyway..
I experienced this for quite a considerable time. I couldn't see any point at which the heat shield was touching so I wondered if perhaps it was the baffles in the exhaust rattling? Anyway, when my orb went on, the metalic Boise vanished (along with me hearing! ) appreciate this doesn't...
Just a quick bit of research, I'm sure the guys on CS won't mind me posting their pics..
(cupra R)
(Direct comparison-ish)
pug 307 (cheap apparently)
Personally I think that the Cupra-R splitter looks a touch odd as the centre section doesn't match any of the lines on the bumper...
