I found changing the lines was easy enough, but then I had trouble bleeding all the air out from the rear pipes. I would let someone else do it if it's relatively cheap.
Thanks for the replies. It seems like the Brembo Max discs are worth the extra cost and slight noise over the high carbons then. Someone else fitted my pads while it was in for camber adjustment. Maybe they still need more filing, cheers.
If your driving exclusively on the road then I wouldn't worry about the fluid and brake lines. The fluid is only going to overheat after prolonged heavy braking.
Replacing your disks depends on mileage and how you feel about the condition of your current ones. I originally just changed my...
I hate it when everyone sits on the bumper of the car in front with no intention of passing. You often find that you have to overtake the lot in one go.
I'm sure if you're careful and the bikes are light then it would be ok. The problem is all the weight sits on the rear bar. Unfortunately one of my bikes was for downhill so it's really heavy.
I would see if you can get a rack to fit on the rear of the car.
You can get a roof rack but it's pretty rubbish. The rear bar is near the back of the door so only in the middle of the car. I bought a Mont Blanc one when I was in Germany to carry 2 bikes but it moved around and dented my roof. :(
What do you want to put on it?
Cheers Tom.
I haven't changed mine from standard at the moment but thats interesting to know. I've had an Orbisoud exhaust sat in the garage for 4 months while I sort this problem out. :(
Luke.
Dave, I think you're points are spot on there. Regarding where Jezza had his trophy worked on I just meant which Renault garage. It would be good to find somewhere with experience of the problem.
I tried some fuel additive, but it hasn't made any difference. I'll try getting the fuel...
Seems like there's a few trophy's around then. I'm looking for a place in Chelmsford at the moment. Do you live in one of those new flats? They look pretty good.
