Well……I’d made a lowball offer of £1250 and it was accepted.
It’ll have to live on the drive….picking it up on Saturday.
Anyone ever driven a Panda 100hp? Are they actually any good?
Was out at a customer dinner last night….really good….bad hangover…..found out I’ve made an offer on the Panda!!!! Last time this happened I ended up withLand Rover S3…..god knows what I’ll do if they accept it as it doesn’t fit with the Clio 😳😳😳
I’m hoping that the numbers are wrong…..
My Clio is still at Micks , so can’t measure it, but does anyone know the actual length of a Clio 182 trophy?
Just been offered a Panda 100hp pandamonium (best special edition name ever!) but appear to be 3cm short in garage length if the official...
Mick has been a legend…..he managed to find one at a breakers! So problem solved….but as it’s missing I might drop Nick at Pure Motorsport a line as it’s a niche that needs filling
Hi Ed,
I contacted RPD via email but got the same response that it’s out of stock.
Kev at Kam racing said the same, best possible outcome is to fabricate fabricate one from aluminium or gold coated sheet.
Trying a few other places and breakers yards first!
Otherwise will be borrowing...
Both good choices….for me in that era it would be either;
1. mk1 Astra GTE
2. Alfa 75
Both bigger, but cars I absolutely adore….out of your choice I’d edge towards the Renault
Had a wonderful debate with my better half last night….if you replace the Range Rover with something reliable you can get another toy i the garage…. This on paper sounds good.
Things to note;
1. Range Rover has been off the road for 4weeks since New Years….air compressor failure. Brake...
I think I’ve the carpet and fabric heat shield(minus a plastic push fit fastener(need one of those!)
I will check tomorrow but I think it’s the heat shield at the bottom of the first image as that looks like it connects into the sub frame
Ok perhaps not that one! It appears to be there although missing a plastic button clip.
Mick said it’s the heat shield that has 2 bolts into the sub frame, it apparently tends to bend with time and heat!
I’ll try and get a photo today of the subframe where it used to connect to.
The problem...
Thankyou Marc, it is number 6….any idea what you’d describe that part as? I’ll give the breakers and eBay a try. As the gearbox is out for the rebuild it makes sense to get it fitted if possible
Hi All,
does anyone have a list of heat shield part numbers? Mick tells me I’m missing one from the engine bay but we can’t locate the part ID. If there’s an exploded drawing that would be helpful.
Many thanks,
David
😳 she’s decided she’s wants a Range Rover as well….. an L322 4.4TDV8
question….would I be insane to run 2 of these???
I currently run a banger td6 L322….just spent nearly £1500 on it today with new air compressor, 2 suspension air bags, service and a lower control arm…..😭
SWMBO has declared she’s lost faith in the Infiniti FX so time for a change!
Looking at larger estates, any views or experience on the Mercedes CLS shooting brake?
if not I’ll see if I can persuade her to get another RangeRover😂
That is rather special! The one on our old Boxster was nowhere near as nice as that.
Attention to detail like that is so important, it’s the same for any contact areas for me.
