Been round the triangle to death. As above, go midweek and go in summer. It's a great set of roads (well the A5 is a little boring, but can be fast traffic aside).
The A543 is the best section. Also explore the unclassified that leads off the A543 towards Lyn Aled - this has featured in EVO...
As above. I have had the sensor replaced and it is back to intermittently dropping - especially on the motorway.
I am thinking it's an electrical fault (wiring or connection perhaps). But then again my electrical and mechanical knowledge are limited, very limited.
Had both front tyres changed today and it gave me the chance to look at the dampers properly now I know what I'm looking for. Mine look like the refurb picture (see page 2), which makes me happy. Still going to have them done though in June I think.
If B follows A was B caused by A? An interesting question since the punishment for being caught drink driving - especially if caught after being involved in an traffic incident - is very severe.
Just a test. I sit here bored and just thought I throw them into the mix. I used to do the same over on Renaultsport until was banned for suggesting a link between children and Catholic priests.
1) (1/4 x 9/10 x 4/5) + (3/4 x 1/10 x 4/5) + (3/4 x 9/10 x 1/5) = 0.375 (or 75/200)
2) Any +/- x^2 curve is symmetrical and where m = 0 is the mid point of the curve. Therefore:
Factorise to give (x+2)(x-8) where x = -2 and +8. The difference between the two x points is 10 therefore halfway...

I have calculated that, when taking the car for an MOT, the probability the brakes fail is 1/10, the headlights fail is 1/4 and the wipers fail is 1/5. But what's the probability only one of the parts fails?
2)
Point P lies on the curve y = x2 - 6x - 16 where m = 0. What are the...
Re: Brembo Disc Breaks
Well I have spoken to GDI and they are looking into a 4-pot kit for the both the Elise/Exige and Clio 182. I can't remember the brand (not AP), but they said it would be somewhere in the region of £700.
Re: Brembo Disc Breaks
That's basically my logic: I don't do track days, but I do go into Wales A LOT! Straight line speed is less important to me; I'm more interesting is dramatically reducing brake fade and greater stopping power.
Even with my Brembo HCs, Mintex 1144s, .5 fluid and braided...
That's the whole point - you love it with a passion. I think my car is actually sexier and more lovely than my girlfriend and she is a hot personal trainer.
Essentially I'm having an affair with my car.
Too right. The Trophy is simply fantastic. You can never tire of the way it rushes round corners. It never fails to make you smile. Yes the shockers need refurbishing (even though mine are showing no signs of fatigue - I'll have them done anyway) and yes stone chips are a pain to repair...
I am going to refurb the shocks, replace the rear discs (fronts get replaced every 8k with the front pads), put 4 new tyres on and for £250 cash have the bonnet and front bumper resprayed.
I am going to keep it after the finance is repaid and purchase another car (probably an RS Focus). If I...
Andrew is like a child in a chocolate factory newly employed to test product quality. The car does look great. The weather was perfect and the B4518 is still the best road road tax can buy.
