A perfectly competitive market is one where there are many buyers and sellers. Information between buyers and seller is distributed symmetrically and products are homogenous. Barriers to entry and exit do not exist and the consumer is king. A perfectly competitive market is a politician’s...
Agreed. And I want to live in the Highlands. Whilst I am not a fan of kilts or Tourists visiting distilleries, the roads and geological lunacy will more than make up for it.
p.s. apologies for my pointless first post; I didn't actually take time to research your location.
I've just read the entire article and I wholly agree with their description and evaluation of the A4069, I must take the Trophy on the road from Hutton-le-Hole and if I don't drive through Glen Coe I can safely say my life will never be complete.
I thought as much. Sure I've read the blurb about the shocks, but the actual manufactured difference; the added value differential that would mean such a huge chasm between the two prices eludes me.
Yes.
Please define low mileage. My car is 3.83 years old and has covered 42,000 miles, which is an average of 10,956 per year. This is 2,000 miles below the UK average and could be construed as low mileage.
Or do you mean less than 30,000 miles, which is an approximate average of 8000 miles a year?
Dear All,
After getting back from South Wales today, I would like to ask: what is the best technique for carrying speed into and out of a corner in a Trophy?
I know all corners are different: different gears required, different braking points, different throttle pressure etc, but is there a...
My mate bought a 182 in 2006 with Greenstuff front and rear pads. After one trip to South Wales and hard driving they turned white and crumbled.
Obviously they were not fresh, but nor were they the colour of baking powder before the drive.
Go for Mintex 1144s or Ferodo DS2500s with Brembo HC...
There is an inherent problem with trying to prevent people downloading music and films they haven't paid for if producers won't let you purchase because of territorial reasons.
As far as I am aware the Internet is a global network of networks that has no barriers - it's pervasive and...
It's a similar story with women. You can splash your cash on women and greatly improve your chances of having a sex filled life or stay at home and count your cash!
My car, as you may know, is being repaired. The air bag computer is currently being reprogrammed by Renault.
However, the dealer cannot complete the reset because their computer thingy is asking for a side airbag code. But the car does not have side airbags!!! The dealer doesn't know the...
Artdealer has an R26 in Liquid Yellow, with Xenons, Lux interior (full leather) and Tunepoint. This is £23,000 worth of car which he wanted £14,500 for.
That is an absolute bargain. Moreover the car only had 5500 miles on it!
I think he has taken a deposit, but I am sure another car like...
Just an update:
The damage actually done is:
1) Front splitter to be replaced
2) NSF alloy to be replaced
3) Rear Axel replaced
4) Underside coating repaired
5) Seatbelt and pretentioner replaced (air bag did not actually go off so no need to be replaced)
6) ECU reset
Cost is £2,300. :D...
Insurance told and it's booked into a repair centre. Thankfully I'm going to use a pool car from work (no pun intended). All is good. It'll cost me the £500 excess, but this is exactly what insurance is for I suppose.
That picture still sends chills down my spine.
Dear All,
Travelling down the A40 towards Monmouth today a pipe was in the left hand lane which I couldn't avoid due to traffic on my right. I thought to myself, "that doesn't look too big, I'll drive straight over it."
Oh how I was wrong. The pipe scored the underneath of my car (i don't...
