Rite ok thanks. Nah I am only a member on here and cliosport. I remember when I first joined on here there was almost as much activity going on as cliosport at one point. It is a shame as I can't remember coming across any muppet's on here. How is your Trophy going?
There was a thread on here the other day about the prices on T's in France. Crazy prices like more expensive than when they came out in the UK in some instances.
It has been constant down here for 2 months. It has rained at some point of every day ffs. Really starting to do our heads in! I really feel for the people affected also, proper s*** situation.
Only worth it if you are keeping the T for a long time IMO. If you do do it though, make sure you take photos of the car in the garage just before it is done as people will be suspicious of the re-spray if you don't.
Hi all,
Does anyone know of any specialists in or around south Wales that will cater for a full cambelt and aux belt, dephaser and tensioner change?
I have searched around and only found AP Developments but I think they have either gone out of business or changed location. I have also...
I will probably keep mine for another year and then change it. Had it three years and I fancy something with more straight line performance. I really wish I could keep mine as a track toy but doubt I would be able to run two cars.
Mine seems to go well too but ever since I had a 172 catch me up easily and get glued to my bumper I was suspicious. Also at 5250rpm it does not seem to pull as aggressive as when I first got it. I am changing all the belts again soon so will go to a specialist as well. Might have to travel...
SoS - what makes you think that the timing may be out as I have also had suspicions with mine as well? I have read that if it is then you could be down by 15bhp???
I'm baffled by this also. They are a major player in the UK and it does seem odd that they have pulled out. Had major contracts with x,y & z manufacturers maybe?who knows.
That clio is selling for the same price as I bought mine three years ago and it has an extra 25,000 miles on the clock. I can't imagine it selling at that price but fair play to the owner. There is only a handful on sale at the moment (that I can find anyway) so if people are keeping hold of...
How are they allowed to advertise this as 'lightly damaged' , 'easy to fix, bolt on repair' if it was written off by the insurance due to too much hidden damage under the car?
If it was easy to fix then it would be a bargain but I just do not see it...
Had a spirited drive with a Ferrari 458 Italia some time ago. I know its prob not the rarest of cars but here in Wales it is!haha. Amazing sound and he was pushing it!
Also a Merc with a racing body kit (like Le Mans or something) went past me at about 150+mph a while back. Saw it coming from...
There are plenty of people on this forum with mint T's. I wonder if anyone else has seen the letter and has had a good think about it.
We shall find out soon hopefully. I would laugh my head off if someone secretly kept it to themselves and then we saw the tomato on the show sometime in the...
Yes in fairness the handling will be spot on and no doubt the paddle shift will be very handy on a track. However, as someone mentioned in the article comments, renault reliability with electronics is not the greatest and therefore; second hand sales may be affected. Also as people 'generally'...
@Trophy299 - I'm not slating it I'm just not attracted enough to even consider it over the T. It just goes to show how good the T is as its raw and has just as much if not more capability than a model that is 7-8 years older that is not even out yet.
I hope it is very good and is appealing...
Thats very impressive engineering!!!
I totally agree that it is a good thing that the manufacturers are making an effort to develop highly efficient engines and I welcome the idea but again can't help but be frustrated that there is not much going forward in the hot-hatches to get pulses and...
I can understand that they need to decrease emissions output and also improve fuel efficiency but when the Williams, 172 & 182 came out there was a sense of 'thats a **** load of power in a small car' about it, which it was! I know the power output is the same but with less engine capacity and...
