Looks like the mooted OE spec Trophy Spring set by Grams has become available, from Kam Racing: https://www.kamracing.co.uk/grams-oem-springs-renault-clio-mk2-rs182-trophy.html This can only be a good thing, given the rarity now of the Original Renault/Eibach items.

Not gone on there yet from what I can see, the current owner declared on FB that is was coming soon to CC, but didn't specify when.

Well, I guess we'll have to wait and see. Given only one Trophy sale via CC so far this year, it will be interesting to watch the outcome of a car listed with no reserve.

Like buses... Another Trophy apparently 'coming soon' to CC. Trophy #489, lost out in the wilderness for a good few years, recently surfaced as a 1 owner example on 51k on information given by the seller.

It looks like an 'appendix K' race car to me, so in that case it'd be a 1293cc, running twin H4 SU's, probably good for circa 120-130 bhp. It'll not weigh much more than 500kg though.. 😁

I stumbled upon this vid earlier, some track day action from Brands of a delightful dice between a Classic Mini and a 197 Trackday car. A great watch, highlights for me - watching the Mini in the mirrors for the first couple of laps then the kerb bouncing towards the end! Brilliant!

You're certainly not the only one, I think we all go through periods of slight disenchantment with these machines - usually brought on for me by the ratio of expenditure to driving. But as you say, it only takes one good drive and all those £'s become worth it. I know at the beginning of the...
