My Trophy ~ #488!! Reduced for quick sale

Blimey that F40's blistering. I wouldn't have believed that an r32 could hit those speeds, i'd guess at a little bit of a tweek has occurred there!

Apart from mine, as I didn't want to 'catch air and cause drag' oh no wait a minute, it's because I'd just lose it on a speed bump in 2 seconds flat. Stealers talk so much rubbish. Can't remember whether I posted about this before, but when it went in for the seat rails (again) I was told...

    New Owner :)

Welcome to the forum Matt. I think that sounds alright too, I was paying £1500 at 19 for a D reg Scirocco just for 3rd party. You'll love the trophy, although I wish I could stop thinking about an R26.

    Rear seats out

i'm in for a drive/ride some time soon, my Commencal is feeling rather neglected at the moment. As are my legs actually, oh and my general fitness so maybe just a short one first time round! Some great trails in Alfriston or up around tunbridge, but that might be a prob without a rack :)

    Brake Pad Poll.

Nice thought Steve. I'm thinking that I will probably plump for the Ferodo's as I can't see how I'm going to get round to any more than one trackday this year. I'm also going to go with the Brembo HC's. Slightly off topic, but where are you going to get them fitted? Can I come with and are...

    A job dilemma 2!!!

Hey Stu, Sounds like a good move if you ask me. I worked for a large chain of Estate agents for a couple of years about 5 years ago and was treated like absolute rubbish. I spent a lot of time looking at my options and decided that it was time to look at a new career. I applied for a...

    Replacement Splitter... help!

I never bothered fitting mine. Too many multi story/speed bump experiences to make it worth while IMO. I'm normally a bit of a sucker for wanting things to look as they were designed, but I actually think that they look v nice without the splitter. Tis just a bit of plastic after all!

    Clio 182 ENGINE

doubt you'll have any joy on here i'm afraid, better off on Cliosport. Can't imagine that any Trophy owners need a 182 engine that doesn't run properly! No offence!

    Swiss 38/50, my new clio

Welcome to the forum! Your English is far better than some of the other users of the forum, especially when they've had a few drinks (hey Steve!!) Enjoy your Trophy, you'll have great fun . . . Olly :D

A bit of a job dilemna.

Let me just slip my recruitment hat on Steve. There we go. I would suggest that even if the higher paid position is offering little in the way of progression, if the commute is bearable (not just imaginable) then it would be well worth the jump for a year or so. It would then place you in a...

    6 Days till Top Gear

Hammond looked properly spooked watching the video back. It was a bit of a bizarre feeling as all the comments leading up to the final run were (if you are of a voodoo mind set!) rather ill fated. I'm just incredibly glad that they are all able to laugh about it now that it's all over. Big...

    Samsung D900

Phone arrived yesterday, but I'm a complete techno moron so just taking a while to get used to it. I went for it specifically because of the Copilot software, but being o2, it's not in stock at the mo. having changed from my old d600 (what's the deal with copying you on phones!) it just...

    Samsung D900

Hi Steve, Just got an Orbit myself (mainly because o2 are offering free sat nav software - although it's on backorder at the mo) so do you have the sat nav software and is it shite? I'm still undecided on it at the mo, it's a nice piece of kit, but I sort of miss being able to send a text...

Sticking Throttle After Hard Accelerating! whats the cause?

Know it sounds daft, but have you checked it's not just the mat slipping forward and catching the loud pedal?

How far did you go to get your Trophy?

Had to drive up to sunny High Wycombe for mine as when I was looking to buy it was literally the only one advertised. Hence me also getting stuffed on the price as I ended up in a bidding war with 3 other buyers. Think the timing probably had something to do with it. I literally bought it on...

    Air Filters

I went with a Pipercross as Mike said there was nothing in it. As Steve says, you'd have to be a magician to notice the difference I'd have thought. Will be heading back down to Mike as soon as I can as I'm basically driving around without any brakes at the moment. Not good.

    Car park scrape

Still waiting for a decent bit of weather so that I can actually look at it properly! It's so filthy at the moment that I can barely see it! Going to take it to a local panelworks at the weekend that I have heard very good things about (they mainly deal with high end stuff Aston's, Porkers...

That time of year again..... Insurance!

Still gotta be Greenlight. I'm paying £590 I think (insured just before my 25th last Sep) and they said it would have dropped another £40 quid or so if I could have waited till then. £300 excess and they don't take SP30's into account until you get your third which is very kind of them...

Forget the best, whats the worst...............

Got to be my first car, a D reg Polo 997 cc with no servo for the brakes an exhaust that fell off at every opportunity and roof leading on the doors as they were so rusty. I still swear now that had I not learnt to drive in such a terrible car I'd be a far worse driver than I am now. It...

    Car park scrape

It's really wound me up. I did go and check with the attendent as to whether there is any CCTV, but it's just a poxy little NCP in Brighton so no joy. Going to have a proper look at it tomorrow, but might well have to take you up on your offer Steve. Are you based Littlehampton way?

    Car park scrape

Just done some last minute shopping in brighton and came back to the car to find a black scrape going all the way from the back of the passenger door to the rear wheel arch. No car to be seen, I'd parked as far away from everyone else as possible and still get some scumbag drive into me. Not...

They had a link on the website for subscribers (and joe public i think) with a list of possibles from memory. Think you had to vote for your top 10. I had the trophy, P1 and rs4, 996 gt3 and r33 in mine (only ones i've been lucky enough to experience even from the passenger seat! Glad the...
