Refurb places usually powder coat so you will never ever get a perfect match unfortunately. I got mine done by the wheel specialist in Manchester and they're absolutely mint.
Thought you we're getting a Focus RS?
I'm 6ft 7" and and I think thats more like 201cm not 193.. not worn a a trackday helmet in my car but I reckon my head would be rubbing the roof with one on, otherwise no issues size wise.
Very reluctant sale. I'll almost certainly buy another one when time permits!

Okay so I decided not to renew the tax on my T at the end of October as i'm anticipating another horrendous winter with bucket loads of salt being spread on the roads. Not a great thing to have plastered all over my lovely refurbished sachs dampers :)
So I SORN'd my T online and it's kept off...
If you're going VAG get the 2.0TDi 170PS engine if you can. I've got both a Trophy and a 2010 Octavia vRS with the 170PS diesel engine, its bloody brilliant. Loads of torque tops out at 140mph and can still easily return 50mpg.
Me and a mate of mine did a mad drive straight to the ring and...
I think the engine should be okay if looked after, pretty amazing the clutch has lasted 172k though :D And I'm not really sure on the life span of the gearbox either, although some people seem to change the gearbox oil now and again.
It is a direct replacement for the original cat and will fit with all standard and aftermarket systems as it is the same dimension as the standard cat.
Only used for approx 2000 miles. Returning car to standard so no longer required. Excellent condition.
Looking for £60 delivered to your door...
Certainly is.... i'm quite thankful that I now work from home as of Monday. Saves me loads in Fuel!
Helping save up for a trip to 'The Ring' next year :D Did a test run there in our diesel family car (wife wasn't impressed), got all the way there on one tank; simply outrageous!
Anyone else filled out a car blog on Pistonheads for their Trophy? Here's mine: http://www.pistonheads.com/members/showcar.asp?carId=135165
Can't believe how much i've spent
I put my cat back on as I found it to boomy on the motorway. Will it give you a few more BHP most likely yes are you going to notice the extra BHP? Nope!
Mine produced 179bhp on RS Tunings rolling road after a remap
other mods include:
- strainless steel straight through exhaust
- decat pipe
- itg maxogen induction kit
prior to all that it was about 169 bhp
Very frustrating, this happened to me in February some chap in a Navara reversed into me at a junction trying to get out of the way of a lorry. Needless to say it's still not been settled yet and is currently going to court.
Positives
- Front bumper respray
- Brand new bonnet
- New lights...
I'm looking at options as mines part melted on the right hand side :x
There was a thread on cliosport.net where someone was offering retrims around the £120 mark I believe.
