That's one of the nicest I've ever seen. They so should've released road going versions in that colour or similar.
Strange it has headlamps rather than blanks, probably has the least amount of stickers ive ever seen on a cup racer
Lol! Everyone on this forum seems to think every part on their car is unique to the Trophy!
Extreme pack is what is commonly referred to the Cup pack. The trophy has the same hubs as Cup/Cup packed cars.
Fair enough. In your case then I wouldn't bother with a low mileage car, that's surely the fastest way to lose money!
Body work has now been repaired and this car is MINT. However, I've decided to keep the car as I'm not prepared to let it go for pennies.
Cheers
I wouldn't say it's high mileage, 5 years old and 60,000 miles, that's 12k a year which is pretty much average.
Come take a look at it, drives just as brilliantly as when I first bought it.
For sale is my 2005 Renault Sport Clio 182 Cup in Racing Blue, which has recently clocked 60,000 enjoyable and trouble free miles.
I have owned the car for approximately two and a half years in which time it has been maintained regardless of cost and has been given some tasteful modifications to...
make sure the rubber gaitor covers the damper shaft and there is no splits in it etc, it's there to keep moisture and dirt out.
I would avoid pressure washing them and just give them a clean over with a wash mitt and gentle rinse.
When I repainted mine I put approx 5 layers of wheel sealant on...
that looks fantastic, only a shame that the airbag isnt a more black colour, kinda annoying the way renault have done the interior in blue, looks especially pish in a black car like mine! Been thinking aboout sorting my melted wheel for a while!
I've just done my second set of trophy dampers, first set went on my car, now done a set for the missus' 182 cup.
I stripped the dampers right down, cleaned them up, wire brushed the rust and used hammerite kurust, scotched the other areas, masked up the damper piston rod and the adonised...
With regard to fitting, just a case of wiggling them into place, align the hub carrier bolt holes, put the bolts in, torque to 180Nm, then screw the upper top mount on as far as it will go
So you got in sorted in the end? I don't understand it, there just doesnt seem to be any adjustment at all to correct it, I've fitted two of these before without any issues!
Where abouts in sussex are you out of interest? The mate I've fitted it for lives in crawley...
my mates one is very fast as it's been tinkered with slightly, would lose me on the straights, but I can give him a run for his money around dual carriageways with roundabouts!
I have a FF182 and I removed the headlamp washers because they look crap and do bugger all in the way of cleaning the headlamps anyway, I'd definitely fit the xenons, did it to my girlfriends 182 cup and it made such a difference, and she had upgraded bulbs in her poverty spec headlamps too...
The car does hiss slightly with the acoustic valve removed, however if it's a whistling similar to a turbo/supercharger
it is most likely the bearings in the accessories belt pulley/tensioner.
Mine used to make that noise until the above items were replaced.
All a VIC certifies is that it is the same vehicle that has been written off (Vehicle Identity Check)
An engineers report in theory should confirm that the vehicle is structurally sound, but does not guarantee anything.
In all fairness after a new cross member and subframe that looks like it...
I've got one, but it must easily be about 600 pages, so not really practical to scan!
where are you based? I could talk to the guy who sold me it on ebay and see if he has anymore if you like?

These should apply to the Cobra 7897 and 7887 as far as i know they are the same apart from a backup battery inside the siren on the 7897.
Right the first two...
