Yeah it is, but then in my opinion this is car has all the advantages of a trophy without the drawbacks, granted there is no numbered plaque, but if you buy one of these to drive it and enjoy it, that's not important. Plus this car has more history than any other I've seen!
I probably will sell...
Hi all,
Some of you the forum will know me already, although I've been quiet for a couple years.
I've owned my Black Gold 182 since Oct 07, so I've had it for nearly 7 years. The car has been absolutely fantastic in this time, however due to me recently purchasing an E46 M3, I cannot justify...
I've got the standard trophy front eibachs (yellow), sportlines (Red) and Prolines (Black) and just so happened to be looking at them yesterday I can't actually find any visual difference between them other than their colour, that is the front springs of course.
It's an ok exhaust, I have one myself, but honestly if you're going to organise a group buy I'd do it for the BTB.
The rs192 definitely does not achieve it's power claims and it's a big compromise as half the centre pipe is only 2 inch in diameter
Hence me chopping the centre pipe out of mine...
Agreed they will be knackered in no time anyway, when I next repaint mine, if I have some stickers by that point I will fit them and 2 pack
lacquer over the top of them.
bloody good work mate, I gave up at the first hurdle when I tired.
Phoned Renault UK and they didn't have the foggiest what I was on about and neither did SACHS uk!
I'd really be interested in a set!
They are linked yes, but not by can bus. ECU takes several signals from the ABS unit the main one being the speed signal. If you have ESP there is even more intereaction between the two.
I may be able to help with your fault but I'd rather not steer this thread off topic, start another one and...
The Mk2 Clio is not canbus, evidence of this is when you try and fit the update list headunits from newer renaults they don't work.
I havent used one of the Connects2 adapters, but I have used the autoleads one (which I could never get to work) and two different Genuine Alpine ones which do...
They should have also masked up the faces where the bolts tighten up against. The paint can wear away and thus loosen the bolts.
Is there no one out there and will wet spray a wheel inside out rather than powder coat?
I find if you get a stone chip on a powder coated part it chips away in...
Where abouts do you live?
I've done a few of these at work and they can be a little tough, but once you've got the hang of it they get easier!
If you're local I could come give it a go
I'm not sure whether they come with it or not.
But I've seen a great deal with it there, and a couple that don't have a dent at all.
Having been underneath the 182s a fair few times I would say that the manifold would touch the subframe in a different place when it moves due to worn dog bone mount.
I personally feel most of the questions are relevant, a car with "full service history" should have had a cambelt change by now, seeing as it is vital component.
If the seller had just been clear and said "yes/no the cambelt has/hasn't been changed" then it would have ended the debate long ago.
