Just checked the manual and you are right Oliie, air filter at 24k. Having said this it also says to replace it every second oil change if you follow the special conditions schedule (50% journeys under 18 mph) which means every 12k. So as long as it is done before or on every 24k, you can't go...

Every 12,000 mile service, oil filter every time you change the oil.

Great news on the purchase! :D Service is scheduled for 12,000 miles or two years, however they do advise that under some driving conditions you should change your oil every 6,000 miles. As I drive my car quite hard, and it also does a lot of town driving I change mine every 6,000.

He's got the old one, a DC2. Paid alot of money for a low miles S reg one, but it's looking like money well spent. Since he's had the car, we keep on talking about going out for a country drive, will have to sort this out soon and see what the result is with two mere mortals behind the wheels...

I'll be going for the Yoko's myself, but I've got to try and squeeze another trackday out of the Michelin's first. Although the trophy was developed on the PE2's, I do believe there will be tyres out there that will offer more outright grip such as the Yoko's.

Decided to go down the route of getting a new tyre, factoring in delivery charges it has ended up not being much more expensive to go for new rather than worn...thanks big peaches for offering your old tyre, hope someone else off ebay takes it off your hands.

Think they were the predecessor to the Exaltos, like Day I had them on my 172 but when I went for replacements I got the Exalto 2's - much better allround tyre.

:shock: No interest since April? That's shocking, have you tried the usual suspects Autotrader, Pistonheads etc? Might be worth having a word with Steve at Allvehicles to see if he's interested, he's got some great feedback from other Trophy owners on this site.

As you don't have MOT's in Jersey, you should definitely go for a decat. Some say that the light will still come on with a sports cat due to the increased flow rate tripping the sensor. Think GDI do a decent decat, a couple of owners on this forum have fitted them, worth doing a search of...

Pretty much what I was thinking, thanks for the replies. I was going to put the puncture repaired tyre onto the off side rear as at Brands it would not take too much of a pasting, but then there is the worry of a blow out or rapid deflation at the rear which is very scary! Will keep on...

Got a puncture repair in one of my tyres, and I am not sure whether or not to trust the repair on track? The tyre place that fitted said that they are rated to 220mph and it should therefore be fine on track, but I'm worried that the increased heat and pressure and the increased movement in the...

Both look great, was the trade worth it - 172 Cup to Trophy? Reckon I would be driving a Cup now had they not bought the Trophy out.
