I have the standard Koni rears also and have been happy so far. Has only been a couple of months and haven't messed around with the stiffness yet. Just left them how Mark fish recommended so far.
I am driving west on the A14 each morning but around 7:40 - 8 am and from Cambridge not Newmarket. So I doubt its me but must still be close to crossing paths. :)
I may be wrong but I think when people get emails that sound like they have been through a translator they think its a scam or something. I would recommend asking a friend with better English to call for you and at least explain the situation and then maybe use email after that.
Just keep...
My comment was aimed at Beane rather than badgerman.
My dampers both failed in under a year and BG sorted them for nothing only last week. On mine there were no visible signs of a problem but gas had escaped from cracks in the reservoir body.
Not sure how it happened to be honest but BG have been very good and replaced the cracked parts and serviced them under warranty. Mark fish has also been excellent! Very happy with the service he has provided me with.
Picked up the car last night from Mark. He was still tweaking the setup...
So, its been a while since I updated this thread. As mentioned above I had a handling problem which I thought was due to warn ball joints or bushes. The problem got considerably worse so I decided to take the car to Mark fish and get him to look at it.
It turns out that it was down to the...
So are you going to be replacing all the bushes with polyflex ones? With new ball joints and track rod ends? Really would be interested in how you get on with this as I am considering doing this myself or taking it to mark fish for him to do. Are there any bushes on the rear of the car that...
Rhod: I am not sure we have exactly the same problem after thinking on this as although it feels crashy and a bit wobbly the steering still feels okay and isnt pulling off line or anything which makes me think alignment and track rods would be fine. Wondering if it could be a broken spring or...
Ah okay, was hoping this would be a simple fix. Was planning on changing the oil soon, so will do that and have a good look under the car before proceeding any further. Had thought I would replace ball joints at the same time but unsure now.
Thanks for the input, alignment was done the day after I refitted the dampers by Mark fish. Was fine for a while but seems to be gradually getting worse and I have lost confidence in pushing the car now. Seeing as I have done 70k now and not changed them I thought it might be time. Comments...
Hi folks,
I know there have been several threads on this topic and I have also looked on cliosport. I had been thinking I would get new ball joints without the wishbone and fit them to my trophy and at the same time fit uprated poly bushes to the wishbone. After reading on cliosport the...
Mine also leaked through the bolt holes, which I think is also related to the liquid gasket not sealing properly. They did replace my bolts at the same time
I think your right and most likely it has run onto the piston but I would assume you could tell from how this oil looked. Did you suggest your explanation when you spoke to them?
I had the same oil leak fixed on my T under warranty, took them 2 tries to stop it leaking as the putty they use...
Mine has gone down slightly, by maybe 1 or 2mpg but I put this down to cold weather and letting the car warm up while I de ice the car in the mornings. Will be interesting to see what mpg I get on a longer run to Manchester tomorrow
I tried this... I got a set with the correct offset from someone on cliosport but when I tried to fit them they were slightly too long and I couldn't get them on the car. I asked Mark fish about this and he wasn't sure but suggested that some are a tighter fit than others but there was no way...
On a slightly different subject. How easy were the bushes to fit? Did you get the all the powerflex ones as per this page?
