Likewise, injector fault on mine. Fresh set of OE injectors and new fuel rail o-rings sorted it out
Popped new plugs, leads and coil pack in for good measure. Runs great now!!
Sounds like a good set of track mods. You'll also find that the other suspension components (top mounts, wishbones, ball joints etc.) are all relatively straightforward and cheap to replace, with plenty of 'performance' upgrades on offer too. You might want to consider an additional, adjustable...
I simply had them rebuilt with new shafts and powder-coated. I didn't have them de-pinned but did manage to grab the last set of compatible Ohlins gaiters!!
Just had 'the call' to pay for my Sachs refurb, which should arrive back with me tomorrow. They'll be coming back fully rebuilt, with two new shafts and powder coated. Will be fitting them next week with brand new Cooksport springs and PMS solid topmounts, along with brand new Sachs rears and...
My Sachs dampers went in to BG this week, following several excellent pre-sales discussions with Jane and Ben. Everything was clear on the pricing (per the email copied above) and I was informed how the work would proceed once I'd sent the dampers in by courier.
The dampers arrived with BG...
The Yoko AD08R tyre is superb (have had mine fitted since Feb) and ideally suited to generally dry weather driving and occasional track use IMO. Get's my vote!
I agree with you there. I bought mine on 115k but have had the pleasure of doing LOADS of work on it to get it just how I want it, making incremental improvements here and there. It certainly doesn't look or drive like a car with 115k miles on the clock, so I couldn't be happier. It also meant I...
A nice little piece on the 182 Trophy, Spider and Megane RS in today's Autocar, but nothing new really. It does state that the current going rate for a Trophy is c.£7,000. That's not what the classifieds suggest at present of course, although mileage is clearly proving to be a factor in pricing...
It's a great meet and well worth attending. Get there early (pre-8am) if you want to park up on the square itself, as Brockster and I have done previously. Otherwise, park locally and enjoy the sights/sounds! It's the second Sunday of every month, so the next one should be on Sunday 12th June.
Look forward to seeing and hearing the new induction setup,Alan. Glad you liked the sound of the K-Tec kit on mine, it's quite addictive!
Miller - hopefully meet you at one of the Queens Square meets soon :-)
Thanks for the updates TonkaTruck. Great that enough people have paid up and you're able to place the order. Looking forward to receiving mine soon
Brilliant, thanks for the update and for doing the leg work!
How would you like to deal with the Facebook people who aren't forum members? Can they liaise with you directly by email perhaps?

I've just gone down this route and agree totally with Tommo's comments regarding Prospeed. Build quality is superb, sound is great (sporty on WOT but not too intrusive the rest of the time), no drone on the motorway and looks good in the bumper (I went for 3" slash cut rolled in tips). I also...
Really enjoying my AD08Rs. Probably done a couple hundred miles of mixed driving on them and have been really impressed so far. Looking forward to testing them out on track at some point soon too!!
Popped in a poly-bushed (Powerflex) twisted dogbone gearbox mount last night, a relatively simple and rewarding job. Did it with the car on axle stands, which meant rather tight working conditions but access to the various bolts was fine. On to the upper engine mount (with Powerflex insert) and...
I use ATE TYP200 fluid in mine (formerly ATE Super Blue), which I've used reliably on/off track in various cars over the years. Great quality product and has never let me down
