I've done around 1k miles on my AD08Rs, including use throughout the winter and also on a couple of track days. I've been really pleased with the overall grip, wear and feel of the tyres. They've been better on track than he 595-RSR tyres I've used previously (admittedly on other cars) and I was...
Mine was an 80 mile round trip from Bristol to Cardiff and back. Went to see it one week, dealt with the owner on email/text to agree a price and then travelled over on the train the following week to collect and drive home.
It was actually the first Trophy I'd been to see but, despite the...
Thanks for the insight into this Marc, very interesting indeed. Really sorry that you missed out on the plate after all of the hard work you put in to get it into an auction.

There should be evidence of at least one cambelt/dephaser change too. As always, service history and overall condition are key.

Other option would be an ITG or K&N panel filter, then put a RS Tuner 98 RON map on there and get the benefit of diagnostics too.

Did anyone else spot the registration plate TR05 PHY sell for £2,150 +fees +VAT in the recent DVLA online timed auction?!
It inspired me to look for something similar (and CHEAPER!) for my Trophy, recognising that quite a lot of the good ones have already gone.
So, I recently purchased TY05...
That would be my Trophy (#358) that Stefan @Tiki was talking about. He did the front end and some other bits for me before Xmas. The results were really good and have lifted the car's appearance nicely. I also take my car to Lee @FCM for wheel alignment, as do several friends. He's always been...
It's a great system and very easy to use. The diagnostics capability is really useful, especially when you add things like the ABS and airbag modules for diagnosing common trouble codes. The 98RON map also makes a noticeable improvement to the character of the engine and the cold start, in...
In my experience the purple Poweflex bushes seem to be a sensible upgrade on OE rubbers, without being too harsh on ride but it is very much down to personal preference and what you use the car for (daily vs weekend toy vs track car).
I bought most of my replacement OE parts through either...
I totally agree with Claude. I did everything on his list last year and it transformed the front end feel/handling. Even with OE and Powerflex parts, it didn't work out too expensive. Well worthwhile IMO.

With the horn, definitely worth checking the connection at the horn unit itself (behind passenger side front wheel arch liner, under the headlight). Mine was corroded, so I cut the wire an inch from connector, put a new spade connector and it started working fine again!

I have for sale a pair of standard fitment 280mm Brembo High Carbon (HC) discs and corresponding standard fitment EBC Redstuff pads, removed from my Trophy recently after just 1k miles of use.
Photos of the discs are included below. Some photos of the pads will follow later today.

Following a change of direction with the intake setup on my Trophy, my KTec Racing induction kit is now available. This thing sounds great on full throttle!
It comes as a complete kit with KTec filter cone, RED induction pipe (with breather take-off), jubilee clips and custom support bracket...
