Update... Keith Michaels never did bother getting back to me which is just bizarre. Now have an agreed value policy in place through Adrian Flux for £12,000 with the car coming up to 135k miles. Like to think there's recognition of having both quarter panels replaced etc.

For sure, a bit depressing really. For reference, I sold the M5 for £6850 on 158k miles in 2016. A painful decision but the right one at the time- they are not cheap to keep in top condition as a daily driver doing 12k a year. Suspect the same sale today would be in the high teens easily...

No complaints from them. My fear in going for the Continentals would be the side walls turning out to be softer. Just a pity we don't get some of the newer Michelin efforts in 16".

Cheers. How do you go about agreeing a value? Do you have to state the sort of figure you're wanting or can they come up with an initial figure?

Any recent experience on agreed values? Given I spent a fortune on the bodywork at the start of the year it's something I want to get in place at renewal in October.

If anyone has read recent reviews of Cornering Force not communicating very well, I can confirm these views are still accurate. Not overly impressed.

I'd disagree- providing you have a good twisty road that's fairly local. Wider, less interesting roads don't bring out its true colours for me and never have. A twisty road where you can have a riot below 70mph is all you need, and invariably no speed cameras etc. anyway. Granted that will be...
