I'd present the dealer with a spreadsheet showing what you want along with any list costs, and then subtract the discount you're looking for at the bottom. That way it's clear what you want and then it's over to them to respond. I'd also give this to several dealers.
In terms of Renault, look...
...for no reason other than to drive some of the best country roads around me. 40 miles later I'm still of the opinion these are great cars. Highlights include the overall feeling of lightness and how that translates to cornering speed. And I still think Trophys look lovely, small with a big heart.
I like, a lot!
Perhaps the best looking Clio since the 182 Trophy, certainly aggressive and purposeful.
It's going to be quick too.
Pricewise, I'm guessing £25-30k. Is it worth more than the equivalent Megane?

Very positive experience following a recent refurb. Friendly, professional and genuinely enthusiastic. Plus the car drives like a dream now especially in the corners.
