Hi
I've just refitted my Sachs after CF serviced them and like at least one other person on here they seem incredibly firm. Now I've owned my T for about 5 years and I've driven lots of other Ts so I have a pretty good idea of what's normal, and quite frankly my Sachs dampers currently feel...
Retailing around £200/pair, looking for £50+postage.
Comes with original box.
12mm pad depth remaining.
PM if interested and I can email you photos etc.
Cheers
Mark
In Car's (rubbish) video review of the new clio 200 they complain about the flappy paddles - they say the gear changes are just no way near quick enough. Chris Harris wasn't quite so vocal in his criticism of them.
It seems a better drive than the 197, but better than a 200 manual? As said...
Hi - from memory there is quite a big difference between very soft and very firm. Factory setting (22 from soft) seems the best compromise. I guess this answers your question - is it worth unpinning? For road use probably not.
What rare cars have you seen on the road?
1. I spotted a debadged camouflaged BMW i8 last Friday on M25
2. Veyron on the M40
3. 26 Trophys at Gaydon 2 years ago ;)
