Hi All
Now that Spring is finally here I decided to tax the T yesterday. It was lovely to drive on some fairly quiet Cambridgeshire backroads, trying to avoid the endless potholes. For a 20 year old car it still gets noticed by those in the know.
Did anyone else do the same yesterday?
A permanet solution could be to retrim in black leather/cloth which has the markings for the heater already stiched on? I bet there are automotive re-trimmers who could do this? Or have I gone mad?
Just a thought - so the Trophy was SORN'd for 14 years (2008 - 2022) and yet the heater control is peeling badly. I would have thought the lack of use would mean it would be in perfect condition. So perhaps the temperature/moisture levels are greater factors?

Hi Nick - thanks for the update. They do seem to keep their value but maybe that was too much £ for a 6 yr old car. I spotted some questions around a buckled wheel. The seller's response didn't seem too helpful. Folk still bid, as they always seem on CC. I personally would never buy a car...
Not sure why, but I messaged CC a few days ago to ask why the seller isn't responding to questions. They came back to me today to say they would look into it. This may have prompted the above response?
I wasn't aware PS5s were available. The spec look the same, but being newer I would imagine (guessing) the PS5 is better?

Looks nice. I've never driven a Z4, closest was a passenger ride in EVO's long termer with Ian E driving... I was impressed with the engine and how it went 'round Bedford.

Yes, the Oak Green 16v looks very nice and would get my money. I had a Tornado Red back in the day.
The Mini GP looks nice but both Clio Williams look a little tatty?
Thanks Nick. What do you think the T will fetch, 25k? Think I'd still go for the A110.
I sat in a new mid=spec R5 EV last week. I was impressed with the interior, lots of nice details and the seats were lovely - reminded me of the R5GTT. Salesguy joked a number of customers have said it...
It is rude, and would put me off bidding. There might be good reasons, but this seems to be a common occurrence on CC.
I think the blue Alpine A110 represents better value.
Taken from CC... what was Mb085 hoping to achieve by outbidding themselves with 4 days remaining?

Someone has already asked a load of questions. Too often cars sold on CC lack sufficient information or the sellers are slow or reluctant to answer questions. Folk still seem happy to bid, and often bid big money.
The only thing I don't like about the Gordini is the rear - shame the reverse light cluster isn't incorporated into the corner cluster like on the R5 GTT.
The front and side profile are 10/10.
Looking at the MOT history, it's a bit strange how the rear tyres went from being OK to worn in 6k miles. I've known rear tyres last 50k on 182s what with them being so light at the rear.
