Sorry to hear this Ian. The cats on these cars are worth up to £500, maybe its a lesson to us all. Swap the Oem for an aftermarket one and box up the original.

Im sorry to see that you have made the decision to let her go but it’s a shame the car hasn’t been used for so long. Looking forward to seeing the new owner bringing a very low mileage car back out in the open.

I’m afraid Ed is right. New drive shafts are no longer available. I was very fortunate to purchase a pair of new old stock from a former Trophy owner.

Maybe I’m an old git. From past experience of the alternatives a new set of cup dampers is an excellent short term replacement for a freshly refurbished set of Sachs.

Saw this last year on FB. Sorry to see but as said the car had the value of any smoker when it was parked up. Back in the early 80s it would be the norm to see E types,Astons,Lotus and many other prestige cars in a similar situation.
