Interestingly enough i saw my first YGR this morning. I was parked on a local driveway alongside a verde alceo Aventador SVJ.
I walked right past the Lambo to look at the Yaris, obviously i couldnt get that close as it someones driveway and didnt take any pics, I have to say its a damn cool...
Nah, im messing :D
Like you, i love the idea and romance behind the concept. But its got a bloody big bandwagon of people, especially influencers etc and often these bandwagons snowball and then leaves the poor car unable to write the cheque it needs to cash.
Not driven one yet. but Litchfield are doing great discounts on their Nitron suspension package for them at the moment.

Lols,
Great looking thing, genuinely interesting. Reports are they're not actually that playful on the road or track but supposed to...
I totally get why collectors would pay the price asked for it, as we say, go find a better one with those miles.
I think the sad thing for me with any ultra low miles performance car with a premium, is that it totally condemns their life to being a shelf queen.
These are always cars revered...
If the wiper arms havent been off in a while, pop the covers off and get some penetrating oil such as Plus Gas on them a few days before.
Refit with a thin smear of copper slip and they’ll come off by hand next time you need to get them off.
My guess is something worn or failed in the linkage. You obviously have to remove the wiper arms to take the scuttle off. But worth refitting them with the linkage exposed so you can use them to check for slop.
Also be sure locate it correctly in the rear alignment pin when you refit the...
Sounds like something is worn or loose. Blade length shouldnt change if it hits the a pillar or not, as the blade length doesnt change the linkages range of motion.
Have you had the linkage out recently?
So i was updating my car service Exel sheet this morning.
Last year might have been an awful year for many, but the litlle Clio got a whole lot of love in 2020.
Hopefully good for a few more miles yet

I did have but deleted off my phone now. They’re all approx the same in decat format (4kg) and the resonators don’t weigh much anyway. I’ve felt a few of these now and the PMS is the lightest overall that I’ve experienced.
It’s okay mate, I too have experienced your road traveled and it’s an incredibly tough one. Both financially and emotionally, as you know, it’s the reason I broke the Impreza. That could have paid for a new GT3!!
I just think for something like a gearbox of which is a known quantity, I’d be...
That’s what I did.
Belts, water pump, front & rear main seals as well as having the sump off to be checked and re sealed. New clutch, rebuilt box and diff all at the same time. May aswell take advantage of getting as much done as possible.
For a road car that also sees track, it’s a perfect fit and forget solution. No additional NVH or clonking or routine maintenance. For an all out race car a Gripper is probably preferred as it’s a plate type diff that can be preloaded to your requirements. But they do require routine maintenance...
Lol, unless you’re is a daily driver like mine, I’m sure you shouldn’t have too much trouble. There really isn’t a lot to them. I’d concentrate on cleaning areas back that have any corrosion on them. Stop all that in its tracks first and get them protected.
I also always make a point of rinsing...
Managed to give the old nail a mid winter “wheels off” clean today. Mainly I wanted to give the underside a wash and dampers a good look over. They have been on the car for 10k miles now and I haven’t revisited them since fitting back in April.
It’s no secret my car is my daily driver and gets...
