    Which Wiper Blades?

I haven't personally, i always go for the Phillips Xtreme vision 130 Xenon from Powerbulbs. They're excellent and last a long time. In my cars life, its only ever had 2 sets of headlamp bulbs. Daily driver driven at night every week.

    Which Wiper Blades?

Yep without question. Had PIAA on my Impreza for over 10 years. they were pretty much as good after 10 years as they were on day one. Bosch are decent but theyre still a rubber blade that deteriorates pretty quick. Youll get 6/8 months daily driving out of them.

    Which Wiper Blades?

Dont waste your money on the Motrios, theyre good for about 3 months max. Im using PIAA at the mo, but the Bosch are a good blade.

    Airbox Screws

Lol, surely this can’t be that hard to source. OEMs all use incredibly similar hardware for these applications, so has anyone tried a screw from another OEM? For example Ford sell the screws for the Mk6 Fiesta which uses a similar airbox, it’s just a case of matching something up.

    Airbox Screws

Take them to you local metal finishers and have them re coated in black passivate.

    Tyre choice

That’s their only issue I find (noise). Remarkable in the wet considering their intended purpose.

    Clio 182 Trophy - wanted

Personally id avoid the Puma Stef. Hugely underpowered and rot like old fruit. Cool looking though.

Latest on WZD. TL;DR - Won in induction kit, thanks to JMRS, nice kit, tried it, preferred my existing setup and swapped back lol. Recently very lucky to win a photo competition on the JMRS Facebook page, and many many thanks to the owners for offering such a cool prize in the form of one of...

    Brand/as new JMRS induction kit.

Brand new JMRS induction kit. Fitted to my car on Saturday, it’s driven a total of 8 miles. I removed my ITG Maxogen to try it out and it’s quite a bit louder than the Maxogen and not really to my taste. Lovely quality bit of kit, comes complete with all clips and fittings. They’re £130 plus...

    LV55 EKC - A130/A127 Essex - 06:40am

Ha brilliant. I was turning left anyway on my way to work. I’m local, in Maldon if you’re about anytime. That’s my regular route to work so you’ll likely see the silly orange thing more often if you go that way at the same time. 😅

Must have fast B road mods

Agree with the above, bushes & brake etc. IMO if you really want to turn the wick up in a Trophy id be looking at your control surfaces and ones that can easily be swapped back to OEM. Fixed bucket seat such as a Pole Position mounted low in the car and a smaller steering wheel. The Trendline...

So following up with @04-182 about this, I wanted to be able to attach the feed to the ITG but not sealed as I didn’t want to provide a restriction. I wanted the intake to be able to breathe from both the feed and inner wing. A bit of head scratching and drawings too and from and @04-182 has...

    Cleaning the underneath

The Dynax is a protective calcium wax barrier. So it goes on last over the top of your desired colour/finish coat etc. Remember, Dynax UB is dark brown, Dynax UC is clear. UB is the hardier of the 2 finishes.

Many thanks Dave. Just been out to try some “very” basic testing. Dead simple, put a k type thermocouple into the inlet tract of the ITG and had it wired to a multimeter in the car. Ambient on the car dash was showing 16c and the multimeter was flickering between 15/16c so that was bang on...

Frayz’s Inferno orange 182 - Back in the old flame

So I’ve had an idea for a long time about using the barge board on the side of the rad shroud to make a cold air feed. So with the help of @04-182 he made my idea a reality. I’ve had this for a while but hadn’t had a chance to fit it. I’ll drop a thermocouple into the inlet tract and see what...

Absolutely massive thank you to Alex and the team at @awmotorworks for the amazing service and turnaround on my gearbox this week. Alex pulled out the stops to get WZD back to full health as swiftly as possible. I had a feeling the transmission wasn’t quite happy lately but wasn’t 100% sure...
