My Trophy never rests for more than 24 hours!
I drive most days, in to work in the morning and home in the evening, and I still suffer the starting problem. I left the car with them yesterday evening and they had a look mid-morning.
Group buy on R'sport ECU's anyone?
Well just had a call from the dealership to say that they can't find any problems/faults. The car started first time for them, and according to the diagnostics everything is as it should be. Hate these intermittent problems, it's almost impossible to get them fixed!
Nasty - made even worse by the fact that it was not even your fault!
Wicked Wheels can do full wheel repairs, but I only know of their refurb work which is of the highest standard. I would be tempted to get a new wheel, as this one will surely never be perfectly balanced again?
I should have made myself clearer in my previous post, although my camber was out the same amount, the mismatch was the other way round to Neo's, with my NSF being at -1.5, and OSF was -0.5.
I took my car to a wheel and tyre specialist who carried out a four whell laser alignment check, I...
I guess it must do, although I can't say for sure. Have heard that servicing on a V6 can be a pain in the sphincter, not sure if this is true, but I think it is engine out for spark plug change!
Excellent post mate! An enjoyable read for a Friday lunchtime at work!
Interesting to hear that your camber mismatch was exactly the same as mine, front and rear! Now running -2 degrees at the front and rears left at -1.75, which has made the handling alot more accurate, if a little more of a...
I think you will need the shorter gas struts for the boot if you are going to fit the Trophy/V6 spoiler, otherwise the spoiler will contact with the roof each and everytime you open it.
Mine has just started not starting properly over the last week. It's only when I go to start her for the first time each day, but it is a problem every day.
Not sure if I will take it back to the dealers just yet, may wait to see if the problem solves itself or gets worse. If it does not get...
Only done one trackday in the Trophy so far. At Bedford, was an awesome day, made better by there being several other Trophy owners there! As I went in Febuary, it was a billy bargain at £99 for the day.
Where you planning on going and when? Could be time to try and get a few Trophy's out...
Saw another Trophy parked up behind the pits at Brands today, did not get to meet the owner, reg started KD55...I'm back up there tomorrow, so I will keep an eye out again! :D
Bumped into another Trophy in Milford near the A3 in Surrey, who did a 3-pointer and followed me into a great roundabout leading onto the A3 towards Guildford. Did a couple of three-wheeling laps (would have been rude not to!), before blasting onto the A3 then a nice bit of high speed cruising...
Hi there, welcome to the forum! :D
I thought the ABS/ESP warning traingle flashing over winter was just the traction control activating when you have ESP enabled, is this not right? :?
Another happy Permaguard customer, I must admit that after seeing the great results they have achieved through this forum, it is getting very tempting to hang up the polishing cloths!
Scary thread that on Cliosport...can't believe it was stolen with a key, despite the owner still having both keys! Guess it must have been a dodgy employee at the dealership, which is really worrying
