Welcome mate.
I did the same swap 182 cup to a Trophy and belive me it's a lot better than the cup was.
Enjoy the drive home and let us know how it compares to your old car?
Cheers
Drew
Can't comment on track driving because I've never driven the trophy round a circuit.
What I can say having owned a 182 cup is that on my favourite peak district poorly sufaced roads the Trophy is so much more composed than the cup ever was - these are the type of roads that the Trophy was...
I get this on cool mornings, it's just water from the exhaust - it clears after a couple of sharp stamps on the throttle.
Very annoying after you've just cleaned the car though as it cakes the back window!!
Phoned a couple of local dealers to find out servicing costs last week, one didn't know what a Trophy was and had to ask if it had a 2.0 ltr engine.
The other told me that they use Texaco semi synthetic oil when servicing Clio 182's.
Needless to say won't be going to either of those cowboy...
Not sure about Permagard in the midlands, but I'm in South Cheshire so not too far away from Staffs, and I'll be going up to Stockport on Saturday to see Graham at the South Manchester franchise for my annual top up.
As for servicing heard nothing but good things about Yozzasport(based in...
Private reg, around 4.30pm - rather attractive blonde driving!!
Reversing out of The Farmers Arms car park.
Not seen this one before - do we have a replacement for nickb's to keep the Congleton Trophy club at 3 members?
About 5 miles from work.
Had just popped into Holdcrofts in Crewe for a light bulb for the 182 cup and came out with a Trophy..... well not literally - but had put down the deposit.
196 will be going to Yozzasport sometime in the next couple of months for the first service - only done 8000 miles so waiting until I get to 10000 then booking in.
Just got the official keyring and very happy with it but hey it's xmas so think I'll treat myself to a carbon fibre one too - if this is still going ahead Steve?
