Re: Project : Workshop (56K ?!)
Looks like it's going to be awesome Ben. LMAO at the council though and their planning premissions, hot and cold or what.
Look forward to seeing the progress.

Re: Brembo Disc Breaks
I've had both DS2500 and Pagid RS4-2 (blues) and I prefer the pagids. But depends on your requirements tbh. Pagid copes better with heat imo.
Just checked prices, k-tec sell both of them. Ferodo seem to have gone up and Pagid has gone down in price?
DS2500...
I use a soft brush or a damp microfiber to keep it clean. Not sure on products to initially clean it though.
Let us know how you get on with it if you don't mind
Did Renault tell you need a replacment  never miss a trick do they (or they're cluless)
As Rick C196 mentioned they are rebuildable if seals have gone.
Am I right saying they want to charge you £400 for labour, or am I missing something??
Change dampers and springs on a car with a rear beam is easy and an hours work for a garage tbh (2 hrs max imo)
Looks similar to yours?

There was another thread on detailing world with civic in usa that was parked under an aircon unit but can't find it grrrr
IS there anyone that could get photo up for you? If you could then you or we here could post it up on detailing world if we can't answer it
In my experience Trophy pain is very hard and if it's some acid rain etching you'll need a machine to get them out.
When it looked good what...
If you've gone to trouble of taking them off and planning to get them refurbished then think it definately was best to send away :)
Atleast you'll have a good as new handling trophy in a week or so
In my expreience you should be able to feel exactly what both ends are doing. Like previously mentioned check tyre pressures, a psi can make a differance :)
As a lot of Trophy's mine is coming up to being 5 years old (50k miles) and due for the cambelt to be changed. Is it worth changing the waterpump while at it?
Anybody had experience with waterpump failures?
Yeah the 2118 are much heavier than the Turinis, can't remember how much (I did weigh them both without tyres) Think it was around 1.6-1.8kg's iirc.
Track pressures, I aim for around 30psi all round when hot. (Around 24-26 cold) Have a play around to get it how you want to suit circuit or how...
:D Yeah great race (even more so compared to the big 2hr snake we had couple weeks ago  )
Was gutted for Hamilton too, was hoping for a 1-2 for Mclaren. But then it wasn't a big surprise, Webber had a chip on his shoulder throughout all race imo, you'd think he wants to win his home race...
Ph1 172 (the OZ wheels) are much close in offset to the Trophy offset (ET43 iirc) These can be picked up for a decent price.
I like Cue run 2118 (palmer motorsport spec ones) as track wheels. These are ET43 too iirc (correct me if I'm wrong, havn't got them to hand to check  )
Had my clutch creaking during track days and long runs.
Only just had cable replaced after 18 months or so of creaking  Used to re grease/lubricate it with white lithium grease spray.
Could anyone help me with this one please. What Clio Sport dampers will fit onto a Trophy. I know the 182 cup dampers will go as they have same hubs and 60mm spacing but do any other clios have same hub/damper spacing?
(172, 172 cup, 182 cup suspension pack?)
Before anyone asks, it's not a...
