Have Pure Motorsport ones fitted to mine along with their strut brace. Awesome engineered piece of kit. Much less harsh then I expected although they are noisier but can be expected. Have a look at my project thread on Clio Sport for photos of installation etc.
Not surprised about that personally. Mine have been marked up by BG at 'standard' where they are matched. Think there's 1 clicks difference on them from min/max.
My passanger side Recaro seat isn't sliding. It will eventually go when you pull up hard on the lever and seems to slide freer in forward but not well at all backwards. Mean just sliding not tilting, tilts fine
Anyone had same problem?
Am I right in saying that the sliding mechanism is a...
As Carbon Chaos mentioned. Have look at the inside lower back of seat. There's a cable there that should sit nicely if its shifted off onto the outer edge its just a case of wedging it back.
Mileage is nothing. Service history is everything.
From fact the clutch had been changed and that it has full Renault history suggests me it has been well looked after to point of moneys no object. Clutch to me implies this as either 1, hes driven it like a madman and destroyed the clutch...
Looks awesome, the new hangers I really like.
Can't think of any exhaust system other than standard that you can't see the back box tbh. And the photos taken at a low level anyways.
Turinis off for some cheap wheels, Recaros out for standard seats, Sachs off for cup dampers, trade car in for book price, sell parts = Extra few ££££ ;)
Yoda has wise words ;) probably the most important thing even more so than the car
As for Petrol stations there is one in Valley that only does 95, then Tesco in Holyhead that has 99 RON. Both of these are to the North West of the A55. But if you want Shell the only one on the Island is Menai...
Leave all as it is and after trackday then tweak things for next time as you see fit. You might not have any issues with certain things that others would recommend changing/uprating etc. If brakes begin to fade just let them cool down (have no experience of EBC red stuff to give you advise)...
Unless you take driveshaft off and use closed crimp on clips don't bother with any of the ones that open up and allow you to fit them in suttu. they're w**k.
Just use a proper jubilee clip. Mine went on track, cable tied to get home, repacked with grease and fitted a jubilee. Not had any...
Itg panel filter (personally prefer foam ones and ITG is better quality than pipercross imo, had pipercross one on Trophy and previous car and the foam around the side fell apart)
Will be in same position soon Johnny. For a standard intake setup I'd go for one of 3 options. BTM's supplied GT racing cams. TDF's supplied Cat Cams 428's or Ktec/519automotive supplied Cat cams 438's.
Still waiting on more results with the GT racing ones but results look good, especially...
Ive got a thread on Cliosport.net, tried posting here but had a text limit so haven't got round to editing it down yet.
Here's the link http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?618688-Trophy-Damper-Refurbishment
Any questions just ask.
No wont be too late, chances are they'll be bit tight now. DS2500 were fitted to mine when I bought it and didn't know about that issue so learnt the hard way xD
Whatever pad you go for just make sure they're fitted properly. Most pads mentioned (ferodo and Pagid) require the anti sequel shims to be removed and ends filled down a bit. Do this and whatever ones you go for will be awesome.
Had both DS2500 and RS4-2, prefer the pagids but price difference...
Just had 4 fitted to mine (V rated) Just drove back but one thing I can deffinately say is the sidewalls have more give. Felt like the dampers were on much 'softer' setting xD
Getting the allignment done on Saturday so will see how they compare to the Exaltos then
