Well no Paul woods wouldnt "do" them, but if i had to trust someone to take of the shocks, store the car properly, send them away, refit etc then paul woods (r&p woods) would be the guy to do it

checked mine (21k) and i have around 5mm although a refurb was on my mind for sometime this year... for people in newcastle i would say Paul Woods would be the place to go to.

they did a "flame red" on both phases of the 172...but this was metallic (and looked pink in strong sunshine) ...yep i'd say re spray too, probably a cat c / d ...the spare parts are probably stuff they bought to fix the car but didnt use...

and the air filter... does my head in when people put cars up for sale and dont even vac them out...it puts me off right away, makes it look like its not been looke after IMO

werent the trophy shocks offerd as an extra on the normal 182 french clios?...i seem to remember a post from ages back showing them listed in a extras catalogue for the french clio sport cars...

i'm gonna have a run down the weather looks ok and i passed a few cars already comming down the A1 around 5.30 so i guess its on despite the changable weather...will take pics...hoping to see a new focus RS down there... i know there are at lease 3 already in the toon...

the first American Car meet of the year on at the metrocenter tomorrow night from arround 6pm.(2nd wed every month)...everyone meets in the car park next to toys r us / pitza hut. hopefully if the weather is OK there will be a good turn out, its not just american stuff either these days....well...

i'm waiting to see what the revival of the Gordini brand brings... i think the next clio on par with the Trophy will be wearing this badge sometime next year...
