wondering if anyone has gone from a trophy to a V6 (255) or vice versa ?
could the V6 be used for 50 miles per week all year round ? or are the winter months out of the question?

i liked the photo of their ( harrys?) trophy getting some serious air, maybe a few of these jumps had someting to do with the suspension comments?...
but if it was harrys trophy hes just had the shocks done?
well i never...i should have done that trick on ebay where you type in the car reg and it tells you the make, model, colour etc...that would have shown it up as a fake M5 to no doubt.
i'd say the cable is snapped or uncliped at the release handle end, you might need to remove the trim in the passenger footwell to see if the cable is still attached to the end of the release handle, if you can pull it through more than around 6" then i'd assume its snapped or become unclipped...
i'm with you on the brakes dayc...i'd love the R27 brakes on the trophy, and the gearbox smoothness (but not the gearbox)
i'd say that was a pretty good price from a dealer with that mileage
someone last week told me the Renault dealer in Carsile had put their R26R in the bargin corner of the forecourt, and had knocked a fair chunk off hoping it would sell.
its in the new "great park" just down from the new "Sage" building.its just off the A1 at gosforth park but turn right (coming north bound) you must pass it everyday :)
Cheers Scott...
very impressed with that last photo...my mates M3 was keyed by some mad bitch, he paid quite a bit to get the scratch removed by the BMW garage but to be honest it was a terrible job up close, your mate knows his stuff,
can he do anything with glass ? i somhow managed to scratch...
i looked at this thread this morning, then since its my day off i decied to go get me some of that clay....Whoa, what a difference, money well spent... the trophy now looks showroom fresh !!!
now for the R27...
