I'll be dropping off and getting the train home then picking it up Friday if all goes well! Not sure if the Sachs will be back on by then, not sure I'll get a chance to refit them before!
So, long story short, hit pothole, killed Sachs, killed PMS top mount, send Sachs off for rebuild courier managed to bend the spring cup, BG are going to try repair but needs repowder coating, expensive week!!
On the plus side booked in with Dan @ SJM for his bargain cam deal he has going with...
I agree with Nik, it needs to be fixed technically which shouldn't really be too hard to achieve given the right technical knowledge/experience.
Moderators would help but its reactive and not proactive, it would be better to stop the spam getting into the forum rather than just firefighting and...
Not been on here for a while due to increasing spam and the fact it's a lot quieter on here!
Just popped on today for a quick look and there is a ridiculous amount of spam, frankly it takes the piss a bit and its something that can be sorted really easily.
Can this get sorted asap before we...
I can guarantee they are wrong. This has been covered multiple times. The cheap ones from Renault are too long.....take it from someone whose been there and done it all already.
Unfortunately not to hand but last time I checked genuine trophy/v6 ones were £200+ from Renault, I got a quote for mine a couple of years back and was just shy of £500 Inc delivery, the £30 ones are just standard 172/182 ones, where did you get the quote from?
If Renault are only quoting £30 I can guarantee they will be the wrong ones and will be too long, the genuine trophy struts cost a fortune, if they're too long you'll end up with a nasty scratch on the top of your spoiler, Renault did this to mine when in possession of the previous owner and i...

You don't need to replace anything you just remove the pin....the standard adjuster is perfectly functional....many many members have just had their standard adjusters depinned including myself, no parts replaced, no additional parts required just the standard adjuster....if you ask BG they are...
Yea you just get them unpinned, BG or Cornering Force offer depinning of the standard adjuster shouldn't cost any extra either as it'll all be stripped down anyway, I remember one chap doing it himself and there being a guide on here somewhere!
Depends what sort of state the original adjuster is in, I couldn't warrant it, as far as I'm aware it just increases the amount of clicks the adjuster can do over the standard amount of clicks giving a more precise adjustment, depends if you want to stiffen them up, I'm running 2 clicks above...
I would of thought the beeping would be a door / bonnet sensor, check the bonnet sensors in position and connected up properly, they can pop through the hole they sit in and as a result not function properly!
I'd be looking at the EPAS pump, sounds just like the issue we had on our megane! Does the steering go heavy when the error comes on?
Have you had a look on cliosport.net you might find better information over there as they are for all models of Clio!
