The Silkolene has the edge IMO. In the UK 0w and 5w are pretty much the same thing so it doesnt really matter which one you use. Cheers Guy.

Click the link and order through the Members Section. Proper pao/ester synthetics need less polymers to work as multigrades and therefore do not shear (lose viscosity) as easily because they are more thermally stable to start with. Cheers Simon

It in fact exceeds SL/A3 in all tests by miles but then again it is a proven race oil ;) The oil actually thins with heat, a 5w-40 will be around 400cst at 0degC and 14cst at 100degC. Cheers Simon
