Nice to know there are a couple about, you just don't bloody see them!
Whats broken?
I don't think it did, I saw it last night again, I will have to pay more attention and get a reg next time.
White walls on a Trophy sounds spectacular :D
Although I would be lying if I said I hadn't thought of every other performance bargain at the moment such as:
E92 M3 circa £20k
E39 and E60 M5 £6k and £15k
Cayman S £15k
996 Turbo circa £20k
Subaru RB5/P1 £6-10k
Evo TM edition/IX FQ £9-14k
R33 GTR £7k
TVR Cerbera/Tuscan/Griffith 500 £10-14k...
I have had mine for 16 months now, covered 21,000 miles and I would like to think I will hold on to it forever and a day, I would certainly love to (even though the severely potholed and broken roads around West Yorkshire make the Trophy's ride cringeworthy) but as a car enthusiast the lure of...
I know, if you buy a sport cat it is very expensive but to be honest I don't see the problem with a decat system. The only trouble is getting it through the MOT but there are plenty of "sympathetic" businesses out there, I know a few people in the TVR club so I managed to find one quite easily...
I just fitted a Pure Motorsport decat exhaust system to my Trophy (in place of a Milltek) and I have to say, its brilliant!!
I will post my own thread on it at the weekend, hopefully with some video footage and some pictures but I saw this thread and thought I would confirm what a great bit of...
As the title says, I didn't realise you were behind me at first so I swung it round to come and say hi lol
I thought I was the only one around Penrith too if its any consolation!
It looked really smart and sounded good too.
As the title says, I spotted a Trophy going round the roundabout near Pizza Express on Winchester Road, Basingstoke this afternoon about 12ish maybe.
I was a few cars back in the que so I couldn't get the reg.
RY05 I think. I followed you briefly down the A31 and my friend followed you in his Blue Megane 225 Cup before that. Looked smart, possibly a Milltek exhaust?
That’s a really smart Trophy mate, good luck with the sale.
I would be really interested to know where you got your wheel refurbed as all the places I have been too said they would not be able to match the colour.
I think you can yeah but I never dare tamper with the Trophy incase I ever decide to sell it on. They are a big improvement over the halogen lights though IMO and they look a lot better.
That would be perfect! Although for me if I wanted an easier to live with Renaultsport I would just buy a...
I had a mint 28,000 mile 182 FF for 12 months before I bought my Trophy (which has done nearly 50,000 miles now) and in my opinion the difference between the two is HUGE.
The Trophy is a much more focused and sharper handling car. The turn-in is quicker and sharper, it feels to grip harder and...
I can't help you with the font but the Clio outside the estate agents is my dad’s (number 23) and I also have one (number 229) we live in Northowram. I have been wondering who's the Trophy is I keep seeing about Shelf recently, it looks well.
It's mine, I study there so drive in 4 times a week. It has been very dirty recently but thanks :) I do try to keep it looking good. Where exactly did you see me?
Sorry, I just noticed you had replied. I was pretty shocked to see another, they are a very rare sight. I wasn't in my Trophy to be fair, I never bloody am when I see other 182's! I was in my mates Megane 225 Cup. It was looking good!
Hi everyone, I am new to Trophy forum. I recently purchased number 229 and there is a loud vibration which occurs specifically between about 4800 and 5300 rpm which really ruins the driving experience. Does anyone have any ideas what this might be?
My only thought is maybe the exhaust fouling...
