hoolio this is exactly what im having done by tom and james at the moment. Basically im having a 2.5'' stainless pipe fabricated which runs direct from the manifold back to the rear silencers so does away with the cat/decat and central silencer(RS192 system)

£4.5k?! Thats horrendous! Firstly do not go to renault as quite clearly they will pull your pants down, go to an independant specialist if you dont want to do it yourself. JMS, BTM etc. I think you can pick up engines from around £350, maybe slightly more? Secondly does it need a new engine...
