Has anyone read this months EVO?
In the fast fleet section there is a write on how much all of Harrys cars cost him for servicing etc and apparently he has just had the cambelt done on the Trophy and it cost him £1206.55!?! Apparently more than his 550 Marrenello!
He obviously doesnt come on...
Rear Konis wont do it as they will only adjust the dampening, tis the springs that do it. Personally i wouldnt want it much lower than the mf set up (I dont have it but the pics on here of people who have had it done looks great IMO)
Powerflow just seems a bit 'chavvy' to me, i just remeber when i was younger everyone getting massive loud powerflow exhausts on their 106 1.1 etc etc. They probably are decent tho. I have a scorpion and love it but if i were to get another exhaust i think i would go hayward and scott.
Can these work for any renault? I only ask as an engine service light has come up on his 07 megane, wanted to know if he could turn it off. Renault said they wont turn it off unless he has a service!
Is it safe to drive if the dampers have failed or is there risk of damaging them? Obviously not going bannanas on track or anything like that?
Im planning to have mine done in the summer and was going to do this as well as a whole suspension 'freshen up'
Yeah it was interesting to read, you have got to think though what the 172 would do with the 200's brembos?
What is a bit of a shock though is that evo time the T round their track at 1min 34 and the 172 cup 1min 33.4! But i think there has been some hoo ha with this before sying that its not...
