wd40 breaks down oil. Used it on the carpet indoors worked a treat. Although i'm really missing the opportunity of replying here......HOW ON EARTH?!? Left the door open parked under a tree when there was high winds??? even then how would you see tiny little dots on the black?? If not, what was...
Nothing to do with track or road, 3 years aux belt change, 5 year cam belt change (or mileage if sooner) - Ignore this at your peril!!!
Oh, and miss this key service item and never sell the car for anything near the right money - ever!
My aim towards track mileage is the high revving nature...
why dont you go amd in grays mate? they're supposed to be the dogs danglies with ecu's. I wouldn't get anything that wasnt tailored to my engine, don't see the point in getting a one for all setup...it's like the standard factory map but upping the game a bit...still won't get all the results...
knowing mark i very much doubt he would do that. His advice to me was very much of the opinion if it aint broke don't fix it, not spending more money than you need to achieve what you want
I changed my plugs yesterday at 37k miles...seriously nothing wrong with the olds...only very slight wear, so would be good for 72k without a doubt in mind.
24k miles sounds very low to be changing all the belts. Do you go on track at all? If it's just on the road it seems like a waste of money...
Hit a pot hole the size of an inverted mount everest on friday. To the eye it look to have a slight flat spot on the inside of the rim. But in the photos i took it's deceptive and now i'm not so sure. It drives alright, but is there a way of confirming?
very top of the wheel in the pic
just found this on cliosport:
172 cup is et 38.5
172 normal is ET48
182 is ET 45
172 phs1 is ET 43
So standard 182 alloys should in theory be fine? apart from dearer tyre prices...hmmm.
that's brilliant lads, just what i wanted, an offset figure!
Just searched 2118s, very nice! This whole track lark is gona be costly enough, i don't want to buy brand new alloys, i'd rather buy new turinis and use my old ones on track! But can't afford that by June time, need to go 2nd hand...
Doing a track day in June, want to get a used set of alloys to use...looking on ebay standard 172 alloys sell for reasonable money, i'm guessing they will fit just fine on a T but could anyone confirm...it's the offset i'm thinking of. Are there any other standard renault alloys i can use on the...
there's no way marrow would fork out £500 on ANYTHING! His house was only £450ish, and the T was £300, and if he's gona tip at a restaurant he brings out the penny jar :D
Alright folks, I intend on replacing the coolant in the next month and just asking the best way to do it. On my old fiesta i just made a big mess by pulling off the hose at the bottom of the rad, and refilled slowly on flat ground. Without a haynes for this car i don't know if there are any...
haha, quality, the rubbish during normal life is mouth wateringly tantalizing. I've got a good wkend as it goes - Going over the O's 2mora to see them take on Swindon Town, gona be a tough game, then going on tut tube from Leyton to Piccadilly Circus to the comedy club for me mates b'day and...
just renewed at £540 - 9years protected no claims, no convicts. I'm with brent acre, all my mods are covered for their full value, i can do what i like as long as car doesn't exceed 182bhp. If i do then i can adjust the policy. unlimited mileage. nice bunch on the phone too, every time i phone...
Go to mark mate! met him for first time yesterday and was talking about this while he was doing my zorst. Get the adjustable koni's with he's springs, then when it's time to get the front's sorted get them refurbed and de-pinned. He did heavily recommend getting the front's de-pinned at the same...
chances are the casing of the damper will be covered in oil. The seal will go and the oil will leak out of it and run down the casing. If there's no or low oil left in the damper you can tell by reading this post:
