I believe that us clio drivers can only put our fogs on when the headlights are on...but on a fiesta for instance, you can achieve the 'i'm a cool dude' look but putting on dipped beam, then hitting the front fog button on the dash. To everyone else it's known as the 'i'm a cock' look.
So many...
That's quite probably the connector that leads to the pointless valve thing that hides behind the wheel arch cover at the end of the air intake that leads to the filter. Most owners remove this pointless valve, hence the wiring is left dangling. I believe it's to do with noise under startup but...
Fascinating topic!
Got a degree in Information Systems but got sick to death of the bloody machines. Now work as a Customer Care Driver for a furniture store mainly exchanging people's faulty furniture in their homes. Money's not all that and the work can be back breaking, but the freedom is...
nice work fella. any tips you can give for using tardis? I've got it neat but it won't shift a lot of the tar on my paintwork? A lot will go, but some remains and won't budge. Even after polishing with the orbital and G3 compound it remains!
ST's are a thief magnet. One mate had theres taken for a joy ride, another had both skirts nicked, keyed, dented...and all three mates had there centre caps nicked. Arsholes the lot of em
FIXED IT!! Turn to unlock the motor, then held the unit still using a headlight bulb holder and angled the motor arm down to slide into the groove. Locked back in place and BINGO!!!!! Back in place. I must have disslodged it trying to get the cluster out a while back.
very nice T. That's what my company do, import by the container load through an intermediary from Indonesia...i have to deliver the poop. Be careful regarding there 'display' version to the stuff they produce en-mass and send to you...it can be of poorer build quality in our experience. And the...
That's superb fella, do you know if the motor actually clicks in a secure manner to that white plastic u shaped thing that is the reflector? Coz mine is SO loose, it's definately wobbling when i'm driving, passenger side is solid. Perhaps it's just come out, although the chances are slim, more...
thanks mate your a legend, i'll have a butchers as soon as i can, need to get it sorted before the dark nights set in....where the bloody hell has this year gone!? jeez
...and the bulb is pointing too high and blinding people. Nearside lens is fine, it's the driver's. I have no experience with headlight clusters, but i know it'll be a right mare to replace if that's what's needed!? Is there a manual adjustment on them, or can i just change the motor for...
No mate he doesn't cut up the cat. The actual insides of the cat finishes, and the metal goes into a cone shape, and narrows down to a 2" exit. With a bit of measuring, cutting and welding, you're simply making the exit further along the cone shaped metal at the end of the cat to make a 2.5"...

This will eliminate the need to remove that cat and all the disadvantages that goes with it, and get the most out of an aftermarket exhaust system.
No need to get a new cat fella. If i understand right it's the tubing that comes out the rear of the cat, about 6" long with a flange that mates with the exhaust system that goes to the rear of the car?
An aftermarket exhaust will be 2.5" tube if i remembered rightly. Have a word about, and get...
Re: Project : Workshop (56K ?!)
That is so sweet mate, just seen this post for the first time. How many car enthusiasts would love to be in the position to do this! It sounds so sad, but ur living the dream! haha!
I think the bottom line with that is that cars are there to be used not put on display (in most cases!). I work in the field of furniture and our customer's are just the same with having repairs done by french polishers and the like...it can be perfect, but because they 'know' about it they...
177 at the fly is certainly not shabby. Most 182's read in the 160s at the fly as standard. It's all about the 10% rule. 177 with a remap is very good.
People who quote "what's the big deal, it's insured aint it" deserved to be stood against a wall and shot in the groin. I went balistic at some dosey tart who opened her door on my fiesta 3 TIMES! Christ i could've strangled her to death i was so annoyed. So many people have no respect for...
