Ive just received my items today and I'm genuinely blown away by the amazing quality of the calendar.
The write up from the owners each month and the press release from Renault sport drives home why im such a fan and fellow owner.
Thanks to everyone involved in the calendar and the owners...
If at the end you dont manage to sell all 50 calendars I will happily buy another 1. I'm sure they will all go very soon but I thought I would be cheeky and put my hat in the ring if any spares are left over 🤠
At the moment I'm having trouble with my delivery from Amazon. Its due before 8pm tonight (18 minutes from now) and its not looking good. Might have to order another 1 from a different seller but I will happily upload a video and some pictures if it works
I have invested (amazon delivery pending) in a soda blaster gun (sodium bicarbonate aka baking soda/ bicarbonate of soda) I've done a bit of research and sand blasting and similar forms damage the surface slightly and pit it but soda is delicate and none damaging.
I'm not sure if it will manage...
Did you manage to get the dampers refurbished?
Mine are in a sorry state and look exactly like these.
I spoke to BG Motorsport sport who were very helpful over the phone but the 1 thing that concerned me was when they said that if there were any rust holes on the spring platform they would send...
Thanks for letting me know. Its abit far for me but I don't mind travelling to someone who does a good job and is recommended by people who want their car looking 100%
Has anybody had any work done to their drivers seat base side bolster?
It seems to be a common problem on the trendline seat and I was wondering can you still buy the seat cover from Renault and change it or is it easy to repair?
If so how much did it cost to pay for a professional repair and is...
Both top mount kits turned up today from autodoc including the new spacer nut. Renault want £21.82 just for the nut and the SNR kit cost £15.64 with the nut.
It's taken 7 days but I'm happy
I've just fitted the genuine top mount kit to both sides from RPD with the modified nut spacer that wasn't on my old shocks.
I must say it drives alot better and no knocking now
I've owned my trophy for over a year now and it feels weird looking at auto trader again to find the trophy you mentioned.
Got caught up looking at all renault clio 2.0L as a search.
Found a clio William's for almost 10 grand sadly cat D. The next one was 35 grand so a big saving
It looks like your going to have to cut off that bottom edge on the rubber boot to allow the next step to sit over the top of the black plastic base on the shock absorber.
Is the rubber boot none genuine?
I've done hundreds of shock absorbers for all kinds of cars and they sometimes don't fit...
That was the removal instruction for taking your motor out of the old headlight. I should also say to make sure the motor is fully extended using the dial inside the car. It will make it easier to unhook it off the slider. I think you might need to set the dial to zero (fully extended) before...
this is where the motor goes if your headlight is the same type. There is a plastic tag on the right of the hole that stops you turning the motor. You have to push that black piece of plastic out of the way and turn the motor anticlockwise l think. The tip of the motor has a round tip that hooks...
I've just had a read of it and he put some velcro strips on the underside of the parcel shelf and fitted some new tailgate rubbers. It's given me some food for thought on how to tackle the rattle now.
Thanks for your help 👍
I did send quite a few large descriptive messages saying what the damage is and that it wasn't as described but all I get is if your not happy just return it.
I even said if I was to get a partial refund I could use it towards the repair but he still isn't interested.
Would you be able to post...
Does anybody have any experience having their parcel shelf repaired and retrimmed?
I've bought a spare off ebay and it was cheap and so is the quality because there was no mention of the damage.
It's split it the middle on both the front and rear edge which doesn't show up in the picture but I...
I should have mentioned it before in my other posts to warn others of the shock. Sorry about that.
It was 1 of the reasons why my arch liners from France got returned to sender 3 times because of problems with customs declaration paperwork and then when they finally made it over the border I had...
Ive had to pay tax quite a few times ordering parts from France.
Its just a necessary evil now considering the dealers here won't stock or sell us the parts we need for our cars because they are no longer available in this country but they are in Europe.
I have no idea if these are the original ones fitted to the car. I took a chance and ordered 2 because the ones fitted to my car were aftermarket and I want it to be as original as possible no matter the cost. You guys are more of an expert on this model of car so maybe someone can tell me if...
