Like said, the car looks in good nik, but those stripes are awful, the only credit that I can give from looking at those pics is the colour is a good match for the trophy logos on the sills.
If you're looking at the same bit of the technical spec as I am, the R is just telling you that the tyre is radial belt tyre, as opposed to something like cross-ply or other tyre contruction.
My wiper stalk is still the original, I've pretyt much got used to it now and had it 16 months so I can't really see me changing it now. That said I did change the gear knob yesterday and for such a small change changing gear is a whole new experience.
If you find any knocking around would be good if you could give me a shout please pr, anything less that Renault price is a good thing. I tried getting one from a scrap dealer, but although they took my payment details over the phone they never took the money or sent me a key fob and I gave up...
It is a stupid price. I need a new key casing but the metal key park and PCB inside are fine, but even for the casing Renault wanted £70 saying I'd have to buy the lot and bin what I don't need.
I don't like the idea of doing a push test on the clio, with the suspension being so stiff and the wings being so squishy I think I know where the force will be going.
Birchdown definately do have a good reputation. The other option if you want a cheaper main dealer is taking a look at a...
If it's the one I'm thinking it's kev off the RS forum as well as 197 forum. He's said it's got more cells than the standard battery, as well as being smaller and lighter so it seems a win win situation. Also approved by someone called icarus on rs forum who has a lot to do with motorsport and...
I've certainly found it harder to get hold of over the last 12 months. I couldn't see Michelin getting rid of them without a replacement, so hopefully they haven't gone for good, or if they have that we get something even better as a replacement.
Failing that I'd look at F1 asymmetrics if they...
I use autosol metal polish from halfords, only costs something like £4-5 and brings them up a treat. To maintain them I go over them with Mr Sheen metal wipes when I give it a quick wash.
17" Hardtail fits in no problem with both wheels off, forks first. I've not managed to get it in with just the front wheel off. I could do with a bike bag, looks a good idea, at the moment I've just got a big ground sheet. I could do with a seat cover too save using bin bags to cover the seat...
I was going to say I'm dreading mine when it gets colder, but I don't think I'll be venturing out the house if it gets much colder so it shouldn't effect me.
Did they not hold the boot up or fling it up with speed causing it to hit you ? I'm not very good with mechanics to know how temperature would affect them.
Mine at the moment are useless, they just about hold the boot up, but they're not sufficient to lift the boot up when it's not fully open...
My local place for me were the best at £96. I'd suggest juse getting the yellow pages out and spend time working though there and haggling. For me it worked out a cheaper way than using the online ones.
It's certainly a good start, and nice an close to other great roads like the Llanberis Pass and the B4391 around Bala.
Edit : You were very close with spelling too, it's Betws-Y-Coed. I'm not sure what it's full translation into english is, all I know is coed is forest.
That idea just gets better. I'd thought of driving down to elan valley at some point with the bike and have half day driving half day on bike. I'll hopefully get acorss next year to coed y brenin, marin and penmachno. I only got the bike this year so I'd been sticking to Llandegla while I got...
I'm welsh based to so would love the idea of all trophys coming along, youtube is so hard to compare different exhausts with the varying quality of videos. And best of all a mass trophy drive on some of the best uk roads would be fun.
