If you're looking at the same bit of the technical spec as I am, the R is just telling you that the tyre is radial belt tyre, as opposed to something like cross-ply or other tyre contruction.

Quality quotes there, fully agree with both of them, especially the latter.

Looking good there. Colour looks as it should do there, something that seems to be hard to do at times on the trophy.

How can they justify charging that much ? I thought mine was steep at £490 for service and aux belt kit change from a main dealer.

My wiper stalk is still the original, I've pretyt much got used to it now and had it 16 months so I can't really see me changing it now. That said I did change the gear knob yesterday and for such a small change changing gear is a whole new experience.

I use autosol metal polish from halfords, only costs something like £4-5 and brings them up a treat. To maintain them I go over them with Mr Sheen metal wipes when I give it a quick wash.

Did they not hold the boot up or fling it up with speed causing it to hit you ? I'm not very good with mechanics to know how temperature would affect them. Mine at the moment are useless, they just about hold the boot up, but they're not sufficient to lift the boot up when it's not fully open...
