As above really, give it a clay, polish if the surface is scratched / swirled, then use a synthetic sealant / wax. There are some pretty durable waxes like collinite that will mean you don't have to top up with wax that regularly. It should work out cheaper than permaguard if you're willing to...
Trophy is different to 182 models but I'm not sure about the 172 cup. The 182's have a heat reflecting windscreen which the trophy doesn't (unless mine has previously been replaced by an inferior one.
If you don't want a Cd player alpine do some nice looking ones, I'm not sure whether any have Bluetooth built in. Pioneer also do some nice looking models that have bluetooth / ipod either standard or as optional extras.
I agree with the above, it's definately not the metallic ticking of cooling metal. It's definately a sound that's linked to engine revs. It's not always there either, I find if I stop at a set of traffic lights it starts after about 30 seconds, and if I give a decent rev it goes away for...
You've described the noise I get sometimes exactly, it doesn't seem as bad recently but I can still here it when stopping after a bit of a drive. When I asked a few people they also mentioned the cannister thing.
I've had mine come on twice recently. The first time I booked it into Renault straight away and the light went off the day I took it in. The second time I waited a week and it went all on it's own.
If I was to reset the code and there was a fault with one of the sensors would the light come...
Mine's a heavy clutch with bite towards the top of the pedal travel, and feels very vague around bit point, nowhere near as sharp as other cars I've driven.
The exhaust seems to have dropped in price by a substantial amount. Mine isn't ready for change but I'm tempted to do it now rather than wait until it fails at that price.
I've only heard good things about them. I think #083 will be going there in a couple of months, possibly even sooner since the emissions light is on at the moment.
It should scare them into taking some action, I'd think a nice letter of apology, a decent sum of compensation and someone having to wear a yellow pages down their trousers to ease the pain of the kicking they deserve would be a good start.
I've got the night breakers, a definate improvement over cheaper bulbs. The light is slightly whiter, although still a long way off xenon colour, but they're certainly brighter and seem to light up a bit further along the side of the road.
Not bad considering you've gone to the wrong comparisson site as well.
Mine is 480 with greenlight but bunged my details into privilege the other day and came back with low £300's so it could be a good year for me.
Very frustrating, and absolutely no need for it, theft I can understand but there's absolutely no benefit from damaging someone elses car.
I was discussing leaving my car in city later with my sister about 30 mins ago. We're going out for her birthday and she offered taking her ford ka and...
Greenlight were within £20 of my cheapest quote last time I renewed, and that was with an excess £150 lower and free key insurance so definately worth the money for me, even if I haven't taken advantage of the trackday cover yet.
I don't actually mind the trophy in snow. It's managed easily as well as the 1.8 astra, old focus 1.8td and new focus 1.6tdci, and both focus' have quite narrow tyres. Granted it isn't quite as deep in north wales as other parts of the country, but taking it easy and feeding the pwoer on...
