Epic trip, nice pics fella. :-)

Just popped out for a late lunch walking to Halfords and saw this Trophy coming down the road at 14.45, had to do a double take as they are so rare. Think it was Centro186? Sounded sweet as it was flying! ;-).

I insured mine last week with Neil at Greenlight, great to deal with and £5k valuation on my Trophy, a little more than the last company however Milltek exhaust now covered, happy days! :-)

Michelin Pilot Sport 3's are about as close as you can get these days to the original Pilot Exalto's the Trophies came with. RS192 exhaust does look a decent buy, rather tempting!

Thinking of getting some of this to get muck off the paintwork before getting the washmit on it.

Defo change those tyres as they have a 5-6 year life usually, rubber does not age well lol.

WTF was he doing?! didnt have a clue about the car or how to drive it, not the usual runaround/shopping trolley like the 1.2's are. Its in a league of its own, he should watch the EVO review so he might actually learn something and how to do his job before he gets fired! seriously...

Oe paint always better than a re-spray at a later date. Would get plastics painted, good machine polish/paint correction, then wax, would be more cost effective defo. ;-)

Yeah 60-70k is more than reasonable for a 10 year old car, 491 is on ebay at the mo ;-)

Yeah, appreciate where you are coming from if its been a tough 100k miles as some have had a hard life and been run on a shoestring budget. I have however been impressed with the condition of some examples that look in great condition despite the 100k+ mileage, these have been very well looked...

Lol exactly, I did see a Trophy last year in Norwich before I bought mine and have not seen one since, not been spotted either! :-(

Looks sweet mate. Try one of those 3M headlight re-furb kits, takes about 45 mins a side then seal with G4, results are great ;-).

I used G4 to seal my headlights after I sanded/buffed them, good stuff!

Another trophy that started out in Inverness (SY prefix registration), Ness Motors must have sold a fair few including mine!

Received bonnet seal the other day, fitted it yesterday and its spot on many thanks Davo172 :-).

H7's mate, I bought 2 from down the road where I work in Norwich, £4.78 incl for the pair, then off to the compound in the wind and rain on my lunch break to fit 1 of them lol.

I read somewhere the other day that although only 500 were sold to the UK market, some areas sold a fair few more Trophies than others. In particular including my Trophy 414 which originally came from Ness Motors in Inverness, they sold 16 Trophy's in total which is not bad considering how very...

Think these are fairly expensive and 'fixed' compared to the OE ones. I replaced both of mine about 6 months ago with new genuine Renault items as there are some non gen ones on the market. OE ones are about £30-40 for both with a cheeky bit of staff discount and will outlast non gen cheap items.

Defo a good idea to pop all the receipts in ive acquired lol.
