Eibach Sportlines offer the best ride but don't drop the car at all, or if they do it's negligible.
Cooksports offer the best drop of any spring I've tried, but I think they're too low at the back. The ride is very good but not quite as good as the Sportlines.
All in my personal opinion...
If the springs aren't damaged, I don't think I'd be too concerned about replacing them. That said, now could be a good opportunity to 'upgrade' to Cooksport springs, or Eibach Sportlines.
For the rear shocks, the options are standard replacements, Koni adjustable shocks, or Mark Fish...
Sorry Mike, I got that wrong. I was thinking about these cams with the RS2, but having done a little research these cams sound like a great value mod on the standard F4R - an increase in power & torque all the way through the range. The key will be getting them timed properly and mapped to...
I recognised your name - it must be a Newbury / Vodafone / Accenture thing.
Nick is indeed a great guy and loves his job. He's lucky he gets to work on such lovely cars, Trophys included.
I'm not sure whether a Megane RSTuner would be compatible with a Clio, nor how much the map is, not a...
If that cam and/or aux belt haven't been changed recently or in line with the schedule then I'd get them done ASAP, but apart from that I wouldn't be overly concerned.
Is it Keith by any chance??
I live in Newbury and Nick@DMC treated #455 to a detail and CarPro Finest a while back.
The K-Tec induction kit is very good and offers a great sound but be very wary of also having your car mapped at K-Tec, there are a few tales, although personnel may have changed...
I'm not sure there's enough traffic on this site to warrant a full-time mod. What would they do all day other than sit & twiddle their thumbs?
And just because there's a new mod it doesn't mean that's going to promote a load of activity.
At the end of the day, only 500 of these cars were made...
No Trophy had factory-fitted Xenons as far as I'm aware.
To retro-fit them I think you need to remove the bumper then the lights are just a straight swap. More than happy to be corrected, it was a long time since I did mine.
Mick at Diamond Motors has a strong reputation as a Renaultsport specialist and by all accounts he's a good guy too.
He's based in Long Eaton, south of Nottingham, and is probably your nearest specialist, a bonus too that he's well-respected!
If you're not happy with the car then walk away...
I know how much attention to detail you like to give suspension from your earlier posts here. With that in mind I think you'd really need to buy a Trophy of your own, unpin the Sachs and use the 36 (?) clicks of adjustability to find the setting that works best for you.
Combine that with some...
You could always get in on the roll centre bump steer correcting hubs group buy on cliosport.net. They are very well endorsed by those who've fitted them, but they do come at a price...
Personally I think those are all desirable items, but it all depends whether the market sees them as worthy of a premium or a discount.
You'd probably make more money/secure a sale more easily if you reverted those items to standard and sold them separately, apart from the PMS top mounts, I'd...
