I had new OEM ones fitted in June 2019.
FWIW they cost £287.40 + VAT for the pair. I believe that non-OEM similar items were around £120 + VAT a pair.
Evidently the OEM ones have the silver/grey surround but the non-OEM ones have a black or otherwise darker surround.
A quick search on National Numbers suggests that the following are on the market, although some of these look familiar from the Trophy Forum:
T12PHY
T13PHY
T20PHY
T25PHY
T77PHY
T80PHY
T900PHY
If anyone on here is selling any of these or similar then please PM me to save VAT and commission vs...
I've finally given in to thinking about changing the VRN of #430 that I've owned from new. The plates themselves are looking a bit tired and I thought I might take the chance to change the VRN not merely get new plates made up. Please could anyone let me know if they're thinking of selling a VRN...
Did you see the ECOTY20 film?
At the end, Jethro says that although he could afford any of the 8 2020 finalists, which included the Yaris, given the choice of choosing any he'd still elect to drive home "in my 15 year old Clio 182 Trophy".
Quite telling
I like the idea of doing mileage and owned from new (OFN) status in one table so here's goes...
#043 - 50,007
#138 - 77,049
#256 - 117,898 (RIP)
#329 - 45,295 (OFN)
#356 - 63,200
#429 - 40,400
#430 - 48,182 (OFN)
4 years or so ago a thread ran for a while collecting up to date mileage data on a good number of our cars.

I thought it would be interesting to run this again as:
- I suspect that we haven't put as many miles on our...
Kingston as in Surrey not Hull? I'm just in Epsom so let me know if you would ever like a distanced compare and contrast with an absolutely OEM example. You've got a great car. I've spent many a happy hour following it through Wales.
A-Plan and Adrian Flux are both brokers, which means that they each rely on there being a number of underwriters willing to write agreed value policies. So if A-Plan merely access the same limited number of underwriters as Flux then the market, and prices, don’t change. As far as I know, there’s...
All. I'm looking for up to date recommendations, please, for trustworthy RenaultSport specialists in/near Surrey.
There's threads here from 2012 and 2015 but I haven't found anything more up to date.
Routine servicing, MOT and occasional fixes or more major items as necessary, but someone...
My 47K one owner from new OEM replacement parts Trophy I wouldn’t let go for less than £12.5K. The thing about the Trophy nowadays is that the number of good cars is so low that talk of a “market price” doesn’t make much sense. Sorry not much help!
FWIW the used Porsche market is very hot also evidently, with "special" road cars slightly out-doing GT cars owing to the early track season disruption, but a definite sense of people "living for the moment" following what's happened this year, and a slight fear of time running out before the...
Just taken a look at the latest figures on How Many Left

I hadn't realized just quite how many cars are SORNed rather than driven!
In Q4 2018 fewer than 50% of all the 500 UK cars made were being actively used. Makes the...
I just looked and the IKEA frame I used for my previous Petrolified print was a Stromby frame, but it's been discontinued! Sorry that's not very helpful...
