Same with me.
My near side damper felt like it wasn't the same as the offside going over speed bumps, it felt a little softer. Also gave a soft nocking sound. Handling wise it still loaded up similarly, but under braking it tried to pull to the side. I kept on checking for stiffness on each...
Fair play to ya! (tup)
Must have taken a fair amount of time to get all those parts made up in C/F?
I love the carbon splitter, and considering the price of a standard plastic one, I think that it's a no brainer to replace them with the C/F version.
I can completely understand your reasons...
Had my geo set up by STS in Huntingdon on a Corghi blacktech. Waited in the waiting room where you can watch them setup the car to your own specification on a nice big TV. Once it's all done they give you a print out for your car, with the before, after and the standard settings. It also shows...
That's what I thought, the tang that points towards the eccentric cam part, orientates the bolt. The tang that protrudes outward tells you roughly what position it's in.
Can you please explain to me why I shouldn't put the washers on? I assume you mean the ones with the tangs which orientate the bolts?
It's just that I have put it all back together already! Kind of need to sort this before Saturday if they need removing. :(
I'm doing exactly the same thing tonight.
Re-fitting my refurbed suspension along with a set of camber bolts. Then driving it home without it being set up. Then taking it to the geo place on Saturday. Will it matter at all, or will it just scrub the tryres a bit unevenly for the few miles I'm...
Helpful tip :-
For removing the strut top nuts, I found that a swan/drop necked 21mm ring spanner was much easier to get inside the top mounts. This is helpful if you don't have air tools because you can still get at the 6mm Allen key hole to keep the centre shaft from rotating.
The company I work for did the door hinges on this beast!
I looked a bit wierd taking photo's of the hinges as everyone else was taking in the cars lines
Tooks some photos at Goodwood '09
These were the prototype hinges, the finished articles were surfaced and vapour honed to a much...
Nothing to note as yet, I'm with Hoolio on the numbering of spanners thing.
However in a few weeks time I will be re-assembling my front suspension, so plenty to go wrong there!
Keep on meaning to post up about this one.
Its always parked on Mount Pleasant Villas in London, Haringey.
Its got a JMS Tuning sticker on the bonnet, and I think it had a Scorpion exhaust?
I keep on "Spotting" it every time I go to see my girlfriend.
Wasn't me I'm affraid I head down the A1.
I'm around the Kimbolton area, but I would never put a Nürburgring sticker on any car I own, not even if I was Der Ringmeister.
It was a Ford F-150 truck, but because I coppied and pasted it into the post it put a random picture in there. I am sure all people on here know what an F-150 pickup looks like anyway.
Its one of these:

Its more of a 'See' light than a 'be seen' light 8)
I almost snapped my neck whilst braking for the roundabout trying to see if it was a T.
Saw you just heading up Paxton hill as you came off the double roundabout at about 17:10 last night! Didn't catch the numberplate.
I was the bloke on the bike with the stupidly bright flashing light :D
