Somebody that can afford a Lambo isn't even honest enough to own up when he's been a malco twat and scuffed your wheel?
Probably jealous because you beat him in the EVO car of the year!
I spotted aodonovan this morning and was 1 car behind GP05 NLJ turning into Surrenden Road off Ditchling Road, Brighton at 18:10 on my way home.
Edit - It was the mystery Brighton Trophy, dammit, should have followed him.
About 7.5kgs.
Don't listen to Cue, he thought the PE2's weighed about 2kgs last time there was a weight of wheels thread!
Good Luck with the sale.
So oliie, I think I came pretty close with both the cost to you and the resale value, so my prize is? (I'm thinking you ICE system is probably about right).
I think the only reason that Rover is still on the road is because it's essentially a Honda!
Cue - I think you'd be surprised about...
Only the Superleggara (sp?) wheels are lighter than the Trophy ones, and that's only if they're 16 inchers. There was a guy on ClioSport who wanted the lightest rims possible, bought these and weighed them, they were heavier than the Speedline Turini's (172 Cup version) because he bought 17's...
I bet that's not too slow, didn't Rover do a special with a Honda engine that was a really good car? (not that anyone noticed or cared)
I think you paid £400 for it, and you could probably get £800 if you tried.
I've got mine running behind the dash, in through the removable panel at the back of glovebox, where it sits nice and safe and out of sight, until I need to use it, then it sticks out the top right corner of the glove box (which closes perfectly well thanks to Renaults lovely fit and finish!)...
That doesn't look good in white, strange because the 635 CSL and 2002 Turbo looked amazing in white, that looks like a taxi or a traffic car.
Gunmetal perfect colour for the CSL in my opinion, esp. with the carbon weave roof.
Yes, it is a Renault Update List, the givaway is the update list writing on the head unit.
The stereo can be very easily removed by inserting two u-shaped lengths of wire coat hanger into the four holes and pulling it out.
Thanks guys, oliie, your explanation has gone a little bit over my head, I might just ring you at some point! George - she has a car and was going to sell it anyway as she walks to work too and really wasn't using it, I don't think she would be too happy about sharing the car, she would never...
Have you seen the latest on the 997 GT2 MCoupe? It looks incredible, going to be like an RUF Turbo in power but a GT3 in weight and yes, still RWD. Gonna be impressive if Porsche manage to dial out the sweaty palm effect there.
Yeh, it does, i've insisted on it, and I think I'm going to do more private jobs to earn the cash and pay her off independently of the mortgage.
Thanks, I'm really pleased with it, overlooking a Preston Park and owned by two gay guys who were interior designers or some shit so it's pretty...
You're not alone, it seems many people have fucked this up, I assume you know of the correct way of applying a decal? Placing the sticker in the correct position with 90% the backing still on, holding it in place on stuck side with thumb, rolling backing paper out while sliding credit card...
I.m the same as you Cue, I spent £30 buying a second hand original gear knob for my GTI because I have to keep things as they're supposed to be, but the Trophy gear knob had been nagging at me since the day I bought it and when it got a worn patch - that was the final straw. Sooo happy I did...
I bought a flat yesterday, with my girlfriend. It's really nice. She has paid all the deposit because she's been on the property ladder for a few years now and I'm just getting on, not only this but to get a better mortgage she has planned to pay off both our loans. Mine is about £8.5K...
Not stiffly sprung? Try pushing the front/back of the car down then, compared to say, a Mondeo or average motorway muncher and considering it weighs fook all.
What this one? If it was you in it then you'll remember me taking this picture, a girl in a green top apologised for nearly walking in the shot and waited, I said thanks and took it, then she got in the car! I was so embarrassed, what a sport!
Awesome car, never heard of a GT2 RS before.
Tell him if he's interested, to get hold of a Richbrook Slant top one with lift reverse as the diameter of the inner and outer hole fit like they're made for it, the inner hole grips the spindle so well you hardly need the grub screw. Dammit where's a micrometer screw gauge when you need one...
How much would it cost to build an Exact Trophy replica, inc. suspension, seats, wheels, Capsicum Red re-spray, plaques and decals? I know it wouldn't be worth it when you can buy one for 2p now but just wondered. Using a 182 Cup, probably about £15,500!
