    A Car-Related Dilemma

I just assumed that's why yo were going, you've probably been told a million times already but don't even think about speeding anywhere in France around Le Mans time, they make more money out of us Brits than the French taxpayer, my Dad got stung for 200 Euros for doing 140km/h, which is about...

I agree, if someone could explain why road car engines need running in, that would be great, have an idea but it might be wrong. An F1 engine only gets a couple of hours of operation before putting out 900bhp+ (V10's), why do silly little lawnmower engines like the one in our car need so much...

    £ 5-8 K Trophy??

Guy's an idiot, says he will take £8K for it. If I had the readies I would chew his arm off at that price and make myself an easy £2K, someone do it.

    Orbisoud Exhaust for £684.

So it is! I stand corrected (said the man in the orthopaedic shoes). Still a lengthy fecker without the back box though.

182 not there. 197 is waaay down on power, as I already knew. (172bhp - ironic!) All the figures are unadjusted at the wheel figures, although the compare them with manafacturer claims which are, as far as I know, always at the flywheel/output shaft. THis would explain why most of the cars...

I think Luke should be a mod, and you Jules, I can't use the forum so much at work anymore so It could do with some more. It runs itself to be honest, Unlike Renaultsport where everyone hates each other, I can't remember the last time anyone was even rude to another user, and it was probably me.

Exhaust Group Buy - Now with Prices!

Bastards!!! I told you I'm buying a house! Anyway I like my stealthy performance, makes it better for sneaking up on EVO's caught in too high a gear.

    Orbisoud Exhaust for £684.

It's all one piece from the manifold to the tailpipes, have a look at the OE one under your car, you can see it's longer than the cabin space - this is what put me off the idea of just picking one up. Luckily they fit them at the factory as part of the service.

    Trophy with Xenons on Pistonheads

Congrats R2TR. Well done for retrofitting the halogen lights too, you won't find a problem with them and I fu(king hate Xenons on other cars anyway, most of the time they're not set up properly and it's brighter than full beam in your face, these things should be illegal full stop. Post up...

Don't go Chief, you're my closest Ally. Secretly can't wait for a spin in the R26 though.

    Trophy with Xenons on Pistonheads

Maybe they come with the Xenon kit, I doubt Renault would supply the Xenons knowing they're illegal. Then again they did just deny all responsibility for a faulty death-trap bonnet catch...

Nice work Luke, this could be interesting for a lot of owners/potential owners (not the hardcore Trophy elite though  )

Are parts available for front dampers

Shit just kill me I spent 3 milliseconds looking at which one it was whilst pasting the link in for everyones info and picked Bevely instead of Sheffield. It's a fucker having to hold down a job as well as waste time on this forum!

    cuctom cold air feed question...

No no no, nothing that complicated, the larger diameter the better, but I was just saying it's only as good as the narrowest part of the pipe, it won't make any difference having a 70cm2 cross sectional area opening at the filter end by having a mitered cut if the CSA of the pipe is only 50cm2...

    cuctom cold air feed question...

Without getting too engulfed in fluid dynamics, the CSA will only be as good as the minimum CSA through the hose, so a larger opening will mean a slowing of the air flow at the end of it's journey but not an increase in airflow, of course if you design it so the air leaves the hose with as...

Are parts available for front dampers

I was going to say, perhaps any dial would do in the mean time, they're not exactly a quality item anyway, pretty horrible casting, compared to the quality of a Fox Float bike shock anyway. It seems a lot of people's dials were glued, the inconsistency is strange though, leads one to believe...

    cuctom cold air feed question...

Open IK's are never good, the hot air in the engine bay will eventually 'win' over the fresh charge coming in through the feed. Whatever you do, get the map done after the set-up as any extra air available is a waste without an ECU program that can take advantage of it. Get a nice unrestrictive...
