Brilliant read and would love to read the longer version and as said if you still have any sway within renault please ask for a bit of support as we cant get the things that make this model so special from renault anymore.
I nearly bought a civic with ast on as Litchfield used to put them on for UK roads and they were a massive improvement over the standard stuff but then bought a new 200 cup as I enjoyed it more. I will ring renault for the belt receptacles as it's the only part of interior letting it down.
Would the seat belt receptacles fit the trophy as mine have gone a off red and the suspension looks nice, is it the same stuff they were putting on FD2 civics when coming to the UK?
Very nice, I need to do the exact same to mine when weather perks up but might get axle and sub frame out for a powder coating so they look all nice too.
Seems the issue was the nut on the bleed nipple sound be possibly a 8 or 9mm but mine has corroded on drivers side so the nipple head was bigger than nut. Managed to hammer a 7mm over top and crack off.
Going to bleed brakes and rebuild caliper but the nut seems to be smaller than actual nipple on top so can not put a socket over the top to crack off. They actually look 7mm I don't have a flared spanner of that size and neither does halfords on the site.
