    Anyone got Genuine Old Springs?

Well the rust won't be a problem if he only wants them to copy the shape. I was going to try and do the exact same thing when I was doing the underside of the car. If we can get these replicated it's only the rear shocks but as most are happy with cup rear shocks then it's no problem.

I have not but surely somebody can borrow you one as they are just 182 cup springs that are not made anymore.

Had them in plenty of cars but never went aftermarket and was wanting to hear that it wasn't noisy or pulling everywhere. It sounds like what I'm after

Frayz’s Inferno orange 182 - Back in the old flame

Mine has only done about 3k in a year and a half as I have a work van but want to do what you have done to preserve it hopefully for another 15 years. I don't plan on putting it in a garage and leaving it.

Sachs, time for a new solution?

I would be happy with something that could replicate the feel of the the sachs. I think that's why we love these cars but with a bit more adjustment and a cheaper rebuild cost thrown in would be perfect. I have noticed that all aftermarket stuff has a spring the same diameter all the way down...

Sachs, time for a new solution?

I'm no suspension guru but in the bike world ohlins are phenomenal so would love to see how much a set of fronts to replace the sachs would cost

Sachs, time for a new solution?

I had thought when I get my car undersealed I was going to try and take my springs to somewhere that makes one off items and get a price for us and will just get rear cup dampers as I'm not willing to pay silly money for the rear sachs when they do come up for sale. Never gave the fronts a...

    SACHS DAMPERS REBUILDS

Definitely best getting both done, rears are no longer available so standard cup rear dampers or koni seem to be the normal choice. Rik is still doing them but I would check with him on how long turn around might be.
