    Trophy assembly plant?

I now know I’m going over old ground but this picture is brilliant and got the search engine going! For the newbies like me its an image of the 50 left hand drive Swiss cars which were produced. Apart from the obvious they came with Trendlines covered in the same cloth as our rear bench and the...

    Identifying a previous owner

So lucky to have some forum history of all the previous owners of #151. Im wondering if any of the long term members can identify a guy called Rob Evans who apparently was on this forum and owned my car from 2007 to 2012 before Rawhide. Ive searched but he must have had an avatar. Many thanks in...

    Tyre Advice?

If you can hang on MPS 3‘s should be back in stock early September according to my local dealers. If not RainSport 2 and Pirelli PZero are apparently very good.

    Sachs Rear Dampers

To be honest you would find it extremely difficult to find someone willing to part with just one damper. The last set of new old stock sold on FB for around £500. Your best bet is to buy a new pair of 182 cup dampers.

What else do you have ?

Transit work van. Corsa runabout. Wifeys wrapped, lowered 107. 350z highly modified and Supercharged to 540 HP.

    Bistien B14 60mm

Ride height is a bit lower and the ride a tad firmer.

    Bistien B14 60mm

The only reason I’m reluctant to post is I have recently had a bad experience with Parcelforce and also they are quite heavy so it won’t be cheap. Im happy for you to arrange your own courier to collect.

    Bistien B14 60mm

Purchased new 18 months ago along with powerflex bushes.(receipts to prove). They had been on my 182 for about a 2k miles and lately the Trophy for less than 500! To buy new this package is £850. Ideal for a trophy owner who uses their car all year and wants to swop over for track or preserve...

    Sachs Damper Inner Tube.

Hope you get this sorted ed. I think we all need to take on board what is happening here. I now feel lucky to come away with a new reservoir and a shaft to get my set back to working order. Servicing the Sachs every few years is one thing but when you send them to BG and even they can no longer...

    Parts info please

Welcome along. Lots of information and tips on here. BG Motorsport currently have my Sachs but there are other companies that can carry out a refurb. Regarding the rear springs you are faced with aftermarket ones as with the front splitter. You can fit OEM 182 cup springs and K-tec do a rather...

TO CHANGE THE WISHBONES OR NOT??

I had the same dilemma with my 182 and fitted all of the above myself. As you are already paying the labour to replace a lot of the front end components I would go for it. Also taking into consideration how cheap the Oem wishbones are which come complete with bushes, bottom swivels it’s a no...

    Rear Shocks Question.

I have just bought a pair of 182 cup rear dampers from RPD and yes they come complete with bushes. Really cheap right now as in the sale!

    £22k Trophy

knowing first hand how much it costs to get any 182/Trophy to a standard that would entice a true car enthusiast/collector I believe the first 3 cars will sell. Car number 4 is unfortunately a unicorn that is probably destined for a museum. I thankfully blame Harry for all this hype but to be...

Frayz’s Inferno orange 182 - Back in the old flame

Good work. I’m sure the short duct route to the brakes will definitely aid cooling to the calipers. 182s always look mean and nasty without front fogs.

    Spare parts to get NOW

I have put my name down for a set and hopefully they will be made. Probably will mothball them for the future and go ahead with the Eibach springs.

Thanks for the link and at a great price too. Just need to decide on which way to go, Pro or Sport. I do like the look of the lower ride height but after putting my BG back on stock dampers and springs I was quite shocked as to how well she rode on our crap roads.

    WHEEL SEALANT RECOMMENDATIONS?

I have used Poorboys for a few years now on my cars and it easy to apply and buffs off without too much effort. https://www.eurocarparts.com/p/poorboys-wheel-sealant-235ml-552999230?gclid=Cj0KCQjw4v2EBhCtARIsACan3nz0dyZR5uSTXV0CKBl3S8_OF780u0XvNaYLtOOfgRPB8ZkNW76fw-4aApAaEALw_wcB

All he said is they work very well in conjunction with the Sachs. Also he will not have any springs in stock for 10 weeks!

    Spare parts to get NOW

I spoke Mark Fish this week and I can confirm he can no longer supply the Koni re valved dampers (only the standard Koni sport ones) and also he has changed supplier on his springs to Eibach. He says they are slightly stiffer and lower the ride height by 15mm.
