2025 Trophy Calendar - 20th Anniversary Ltd Edition.

Sounds like a great project. I'm sure it will be a top class result as well, considering the people behind it all. Ed and Nick, you might like it so much, you could launch a publishing enterprise aka Created by Trophy Productions ๐Ÿ˜Ž

    Trophy Sales on Collecting Cars

Slightly different take on a hot Clio this one https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/2010-renaultsport-clio-200-6 Wonder what its like to drive, would be quite the firecracker I'd imagine.

    Trophy Sales on Collecting Cars

I know there are various machines out there to work on and setup suspension components. I can just see you Nick trying to get something similar to set the exhaust, just to that perfect angle. The goldilocks zone for exhaust tips ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‚ That sounds like it will be a great event though, hopefully you...

    Barn Find Dust Needed

On a sidenote, I never knew BBR tuned Mini's either. They seem to make great performance packages for MX5's though.

    Barn Find Dust Needed

That '65 Mini doesn't seem to be on their site when you click on that link for some reason Nick, I must be doing something wrong? Whoever bought that 2005 Cooper S, spent a sh!t load of money on it and then only drove it less than 7k miles, obviously had money to burn. Bonkers way to spend...

    Oooooo sexy.

And there was me thinking this site had taken a sharp turn to the smutty side!! ;)

    Trophy Sales on Collecting Cars

Looks like someone got a really good car for a good price. Congrats on the sale clearglass and best of luck to its new custodian. I'm sure you would have liked to get a bit more for it though.

    Clio & Mini at Brands.

Thanks for digging that out Ed, you obviously have all your old material and pictures exceptionally well organised, very much unlike myself!! ๐Ÿ˜ It looks right at home in that landscape and on some of the best roads in that part of the country. Small, light, chuckable and nimble...

    Clio & Mini at Brands.

I know this is not the place for this discussion, but you'd have to ask if manufacturers are going down the correct road at all. When you look at the ever increasing, size, weight and power of modern cars, that just cant be used for anything more than a few seconds/minutes at a time,on public...

    Clio & Mini at Brands.

๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Considering the love for motorsport over in that part of the world,I'd say you weren't the only one to add a few more gaps in the hedges, free of charge for the local farmers Ed ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Clio & Mini at Brands.

I would have loved to have seen that little City E Ed. I'd say no fast car was safe with you piloting that back in the day Ed!! ;)

    Clio & Mini at Brands.

Ah loved watching that Ed  ๐Ÿ˜ That Clio wasn't standard and he wasn't exactly pulling away from the Mini. I never fully realised how much the rear coming around, would play a part in how it went around a bend. Even watching the likes of the Fiesta ST getting a bit of a lean on...

Collecting Cars - Clio Williams 1

Looks like a lovely example, I would love to try one at some stage. At least you should be fairly confident, this one won't have too many rust issues to worry about.

"Cost of Living With A Trophy" - Rush Magazine article.

Good article Craig. Its never easy when you keep getting bills coming at you and the feeling that you might just finally have everything all sorted...and then something else goes wrong, making funny noises or breaks. There is no real getting away from it unfortunately, especially when said...

If it had a full tank of juice, that might go someway towards explaining the price being asked Ed ;)

The Saturday Ramble #1: The 100k mile question.

Some very good points there by everyone. I think the obsession with mileage has been very much made worse and made out to be something that is one of the most important ways to judge if a car is good enough and how if it dares to cross over the 100k mile mark, it basically becomes unsellable...

How many one owner cars are left?

While this is a big generalisation, I would hazard a guess that your car has caused less problems and issues, compared to one with far less mileage and one that is kept locked up,most of the time.

How many one owner cars are left?

Congrats Omega Red. By my (admittedly) very poor math's, you are only just over 18k miles shy of travelling the equivalent, of a trip to the Moon!!

    Makes our Trophyโ€™s look cheap

From what I've seen of the Ford brand and the go faster ones Nick, the prices for either new or older models operate in their own Ford fanatics universe. It just doesn't make much sense unless you bleed blue blood ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ˜‚

    Poised..

The last thing I would have said it needs,is a clean Ed. It's like a four wheeled mirror looking at that cracking picture ๐Ÿ‘

    Trophy #061, 53k miles

Very well done on the sale, but a lovely car like that was never going to hang around too long. Hope the new owner enjoys it over the summer. Isn't that a 135R? Does that run the K- Series or the Toyota engine? By all accounts, they are supposed to be one of the very best of the Elise breed...

    For sale on Facebook

Julian just posted that the car actually sold a few weeks ago, while he was waiting for the group admins to give him the go ahead to post. Seems like a pretty long time to leave someone waiting and pending... I'm sure it went to a good home, lovely looking example and the cars history and owners...
