congratulations on the sale and it getting the price it deserved! Glad it is staying the way it is as it is probably how it should have come from factory to set it further apart from a regular 182. For someone like me who can't help to tinker with things your car is something I enjoyed looking...
If you don't mind not having original springs, eibach prokit springs remove the stilts look of the car by lowering around 10mm but increasing handling.
I've had both cooksport and eibach and I prefer the handling of eibach prokit
Terry at Two Techs ran through all the checks they did during the service and passed on any advisories. Probably the most detailed minor service I've had. They measured water content/absorption in the brake fluid, tyre depth, brake wear with written down measurements etc which is fantastic for...
Previous owner of #167 had it valued at £6k during his ownership with a £300 premium via Adrian Flux/Aviva (I believe). My current premium is around £850 (ouch) with Admiral directly for 4k miles/year in London (0 NCB as I don't have NCB history in the UK).
I'm booked in with Two Techs next week. From Surrey you can take the M25 South as they are just towards the Thames as the M25 becomes A282 in Dartford.
agree the above comment about replacing speakers paired with an amplifier however if you get a decent single din headunit with decent channel wattage output (RMS), that will suffice too. I've run an old Alpine head unit with 4x50w RMS output paired with Focal IS 165 speakers and that had an...
Hi all,
I've just done 1500miles on new pads (PBS Race) and EBC precision blank rotors and have noticed uneven wear on the outside face of the passenger side rotor (near the hub), it does squeal a little too under light braking. I pulled the caliper off and did notice that the lower guide pin...

next best thing
agreed, though right now, globally, the used car market for anything remotely fun/limited are going like mad. Some of the JDM specials have doubled in money in the last 6-12 months even with the current economic climate.
Sorry to hear about the circumstances! This is an absolutely cracking example and the Trophy really should have come with the red seat belts + pole positions from factory! I've been eyeing this on social media for a while now as inspiration and can see how much blood sweat and tears have gone...
wow considering non original seats, headlights or wheel colour either.

Hi All,
Can someone please share the part number for the bolts that bolt down the rear isofix bar? I only require one as one of the previous owners seemed to have sheered one off.
Thanks!
good to know! my car needs a regas, can tell there is a tiny bit of gas left but definitely can't handle warm days like today. Too bad you're too far from London haha. What is the furthest you would go?
