To be honest, at that price I wouldn't be bothered about what colour they were. If it means keeping the Trophy fitted with the proper dampers for years to come then it's money well spent. No need to justify the purchase, life's too short to not buy the things you want.

Can you share more information about the knocking you are experiencing? I wouldn’t expect the dampers to be the cause.

As the nut is not quite centred, you may just need to apply a fair bit of pressure whilst turning the socket for it to locate properly.
